Hey guys and gals,
I got to reminiscing some old times from when I started shooting and remembered shooting my Brother-in-Law's Remington 572 .22 pump rifle.
I remembered how accurate and fun that rifle was to shoot, and it got me thinking what other pump action .22s are there that are currently in production?
I looked on several gun manufacturers websites and all I can find are auto-loading and lever action .22s (with the exception of the Remington 572). Don't get me wrong, my first rifle was a Ruger 10/22 and I have always loved lever action rifles of all calibers.
I was just wanting to know if anyone besides Remington was making a pump and if so why aren't there more out there? Pump actions are just as fun as auto-loaders and in some aspects are easier (for accuracy) than levers because you don't have to readjust as much to chamber a new round.
I know there has to be some more pump aficionados out there than me or Remington wouldn't still be producing them.
Thanks for any and all suggestions.
