The 32 acp…love it or hate it.

I don't hate it, but can't say I love it either. I inherited my Grandpa's 1903 Colt and it is enjoyable to shoot. In those instances where I have to be discreet when I carry, my Seecamp gets the nod. Far from ideal, but it fills a specific role.

OK, note, a hit with a 32 ACP trumps a miss with anything else.

I have a P3-AT (380 ACP) and a P-32 (32ACP) pistols. The P-32 is much easier to shoot than the P3-AT.

I have a Beretta 84 (380 ACP) and a Beretta 81 (32 ACP). Both guns shoot well but they are large for pocket carry. Given a choice, I’d carry the Model 84.

I have a Colt 1903 (32 ACP) and a Colt 1908 (380 ACP). Again the pistols are the same size so the 380ACP would be more effective for the same ease of carry.

I have a 380 ACP PPK and a 32 ACP PP. The 380 PPK has a bit snappy recoil while the 32 PP is nice to shoot. I wish I could find a 32 ACP PPK. I’m sure it would be a nice shooter that is concealable.

So, in my opinion, it depends what you want to shoot and how deep cover you want.

This. Exactly this.
I skipped .380 in my stash of cartridges for that reason.
If I want a 9mm, I want a "real" 9mm.
One day, if I never find a CZ83 in .32, I'll settle on a .380 but till then I stay with .32

.32 is perfect between .22 and .355/9MM.

There are two CZ83s on gunbroker now in .32. One is hard chromed. Price tags around $500.

That's interesting.

Today I'm carrying one of my JP Sauer & Sohns 38h pistols. This one made most likely in June or July of 1941and it went through the war and then was transferred to the East German VoPo. I'm carrying it in a JayPee large automatic pancake holster.

I just enjoy my freedoms and not care what others think of what I like, don't like, carry, or don't carry.

If a 32 on the list like the Berretta Model happens to be found for a reasonable price, it will be had. Not to carry, but to shoot for fun and I personally will not say no to adding a Berretta to my stables because I like guns and my freedoms to have the freedoms to own and choosing what to own.
