Good looking rifle!..... admittedly i like shiney finishes.
The stock looks like a slightly reshaped and well finished Richards Microfit. Gold inlays were probably done by the same person based on the highgloss stock finish, and white spacers on the sling swivel studs.

More of a bench or long range rifle, but I did take a decent 8 point whitetail with it this year at 240 yds, so I guess that makes it a hunting rifle. A little heavy for a lot of walking or hiking, but works just fine for a sit in a deer stand.
5R chambered in 6.5creedmoor with a Leupold Mark4 4.5-14.

thank you
yes actually
Surprised you noticed that
I’ve taken nine deer so far with it.
Bucks have the hoove track with the dew claws and does just have the hooves
I made the buttcuff on the 94 as well as the knife.
Nice work, marking down animals taken used to be common in the East here haven't seen anyone since I've been alive that does it. I always liked the idea of it and I've got some cool rifle that were marked, makes for a great story. I could never make my self do it with a knife like the old timers but I like your idea.

I grew up and still live in Central NY
Little bit of a Larry Benoit fan and, as you probably already know, he used to keep a tally on his rifles.
That’s where I got the idea I guess.
I bought this rifle new in 2014 with money from my wedding (my Wife and I split the $)
So it has special meaning there and it’s my first rifle.
I only have three rifles and a muzzleloader, Win 94, Remington 700, and Ruger 10/22
Love them all but the 700 is my “baby”
Thank you for your interest!

Top: Remington 700 Stainless Light Varmint, .223 Rem.

Bottom: Rem 700 Stainless with 2 stocks: Wearing an after-market (Fajen?) with two full-length, vertical Carbon Fibre layers, Timney-triggered. Also, a Remington Sendero stock, with skim bedding and free-floated barrel-channel liner. This is used when hunting in bad
weather.

The first-blood with the rifle and new stock - 2017. Shot was about 270 yards down the haul road, as the bull was walking across. Shot while sitting on my stool, resting elbow on my knee. Handloaded 140 grain bullet.

Note that the rifle has a rubber recoil pad since the top photo. It works better for non-slip and refined stock length to fit me in hunting clothes. Quick rifle mounting when the bull appeared my have been assisted by the change.
