unfortunately Arnold "I'm not really a Republican" Schwarzenegger (sp?) just threw away our rights as gun owners yesterday or today. He also passed the lead ammunition ban on hunters who shoot in areas where the California condor is present. As a California resident I think he did it at the perfect time when half our state is burning down and everyone's too busy to notice a pivotal gun law take place. It was quite ingenious when you think about it. Everyone is worried about losing their home right now so swiping your pen at this moment would practically go unnoticed while people are trying to find shelter and solace away from home. Pretty underhanded in my opinion.
Regardless of my take on it, he signed this into law. I think its the first step in a much more sinister plot against gun owners.
I suppose we should get some conversation going now huh? I'm almost without words at the moment. The only thing that can be said is that he didn't kill the confiscation of guns bill in an emergency act yet. Although I can't say I'm not worried about that either.
Sorry if this was already posted, but like I said I'm worried about the mandatory confiscation of weapons in an emergency too. Lots to talk about here.
