a friends kimber solo is pretty accurate. he cant shoot it very well but I seem to have to problem clearing pin tables at 10 yards with it

Most handguns are accurate. It's the shooter that isn't. But, in my case, the smallest handgun I shoot the most accurately has been an XDS45.

P-64...especially after a spring set swap for the Wolff Gunsprings kit....and oddly enough, my preference has always been for service size firearms.

The Polish P64 is a well designed and made firearm. The only drawbacks I can find with it is the punishing recoil of the 9x18 round in such a small gun and the miniscule sights and sight picture. For $200 bucks it is not a bad selection for a small carry gun. A little on the heavy side but I can qualify with mine and carry it without any discomfort.

I have two HK P7's. A P7M8, and a P7 with the heal mag release, and shorter trigger guard. What many people call a "PSP", but I think that is a misnomer. They are both 100% reliable with ANY ammo, and very, very accurate. They are also a pleasure to shoot, and easy to shoot well.

My Makarovs are also very accurate. It doesn't matter where they are from, Bulgie, EG, Russian.......

This is the smallest handgun I own, Ruger LC9. When the striker fired version came out and the crazy buying frenzy slowed, the prices on these fell big time. I bought this for $240 with 2 magazines and I am shocked how accurate it is for a small carry pistol. Ruger reliable as well. For what you pay and what you get, these are great. This is from 10 yards just emptying the magazine.

S&W Model 60 .357 Mag s/3" Bbl. & W&E adj rear sight

It's the smallest one I've got. very accurate with .38 Spcl.
the others are SW1911 Colt Cmdr & S&W 625 5" bbl.
and a CZ 75B which all outshoot the 60

this little rascal is making me very happy at the range lately...
71-grain seems to feed/function better than 73-grain in this one

For those that haven't seen one, its TINY in person...
basically a Baby Luger for 1/10th the cost ;)

As others have said the KAHR's are very accurate for their size. I have a PM45 that has put 5 shots inside 2" at 20 yards, I have since put XS sights on it and can't replicate but it's my fault, not the guns.

Ya know,,,, I based my choices of the Walther TPH & Model 8 on the "Small" notation in the title header.
Some of the guns suggested, I.E. H&K P7 & G26 are indeed awesome but they are by no means really SMALL guns...

My little Taurus PT22, tip up barrel, can usually hit a 12" steel plate at 50 yards about three or four times out of every eight shots . Surprised me.

For many years it was my Russian makarov in 380.

I recently got a Hungarian FEG that is pretty much a copy of the Walther PP. It's in 32acp and is even more accurate than the makarov.

I paid $89 or something crazy like that for the makarov, brand-new, about 25 years ago. I got the surplus (ex police, if I recall correctly) FEG for $149 earlier this year. Good things don't have to cost a lot.

Most handguns are accurate

That's true but as they get smaller they often lose accuracy. I've seen lots of small pistols that weren't accurate at all. And I don't see how it could be me when I shoot other pistols just fine including some other small pistols. For example my Ruger LCP is not all that accurate. But when I first got it (and for several years actually) my Raven P25 was very accurate. Most of the P25's aren't accurate at all but mine was. It lost it's accuracy when I took it apart and cleaned it really well. I've never got it shoot accurate since. Go figure. I have no idea why that happened.

Shield 9mm is fantastic, but borders on being too large for the pocket.
Next is the Taurus TCP .380. Much easier to shoot than the LCP Ruger. Accurate to 7 yards or so.

LCP shot okay but the the Kahr CM9, CM40 and CW380 all shoot quite well for their size. I agree it's most a shooter thing and not a gun thing, but small guns can be accurate. I've shot poppers at 25yds with the little Kahrs.

22 caliber ruger with heavy barrel. Any fixed barrel high quality revolver or pistol, depending of the day, A combat Masterpiece, or 22 caliber s&w revolver with a 4 to 6 inch barrel, will put all 6 rounds in 1 hole at 50 feet. If you watch the old police shooting team video's, it was normal to shoot cigarettes out of each others mouths.

I don't know that "small pistol" and "... 4 to 6 inch barrel" can be said in the same sentence anymore.
