Ugliest Gun

The T94 is close, but I think the FEG M1901 tops it......

No, it doesn't. Look at the quality of the machining and the beautiful rust blue on the 1901 and compare it to the type 94, which has the classic beauty of a last ditch Arisaka. Interestingly enough, we have a type 94 at the museum and it is much better looking than the one pictured.

Still butt ugly, nevertheless....

In your opinion, what's the ugliest gun ever made?
Well we know what they say about opinions. Then too beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I see guns the same way I see trucks and motorcycles. Guns, trucks and motorcycles are just an extension of one's personal taste. If my dogs faces were as ugly as some AR rifles I have seen I would shave their butts and walk them backwards. Anyway, as to an ugly gun? Likely anything High Point but they actually shoot well and let's face it, they are not expensive. :)

I too find beauty in good craftsmanship.......

But a lot of my friends think my 1907 Dryse is the ugliest gun theyve ever seen, lol.

Lots of candidates for "most ugliest" but my vote goes to Winslow bolt-action rifles, circa 1963 through 1978. Very well-made, very ugly (entirely subjectively speaking) firearms. They made even Weatherbys look pretty.

Those are some ugly guns. But ugly to me is the internal lock on recent S&W revolvers. Ugly enough that I won't date one.

Yep, S&W sure made a mess with their ignition switch but to me it’s more of a insult to my intelligence. They dumbed them down to try to keep idiots from hurting themselves so they screwed it up for the rest of us. No more new Smiths for me! I can’t afford them now anyway. I’ll buy the old ones when I can find them especially the firing pin on the hammer ones!
