I have to get some sights for my AR can anyone recommend any cheap mdus some sights. I just don't have the money right now for magpul or anything better. Thanks.
Thanks for the link, do you know it there standard ar sight height.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IY6077W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Ive got those on my .350 They arnt the cheapest, ive used, and honestly they arnt any better than the cheap plastic ones i had on my other AR....tho you may have issue with the polymer becoming brittle when frozen on those.
If theres one think that i DONT like about what ive got now is that they arnt locked down, tho again ive not had a problem with them getting caught and flipped up, or popping up on their own.
I see they have nock off magpul mbus. That's more what I was asking about. Just hard to pay 60-70 bucks for plastic sights.Just FYI, the acronym "MBUS" stands for "Magpul Back-Up Sight", so...... You can get MBUS sights for $70 a set. I've yet to see a cheaper sight that was any good. All wobbled around too much.
not sure if they would work with a A2 as I cut that off almost immediately on my one build that had one. Thanks for the link, do you know it there standard ar sight height.
Leapers UTG works well for me.
I have this one on mine. Stays zeroed, and indexs well.

$60-$70 is what you'll pay for a set of junk aluminum sights anyway, and the Magpul ones will actually work. Not as well, or as long as quality metal sights, but longer than cheap Chinese metal sights.I see they have nock off magpul mbus. That's more what I was asking about. ya the ones you sent me are fine. I can't see anything wrong with them. Given the price I think there a good value. If I had the money maybe I'd get better, but there back up sights not the primary sights.I'm really not trying to be a argumentative, but I must be getting the good ones of the batches, of well, everything cheap I guess.
I've not had any issue with the 20 dollar flip up sights, besides them usually leaning to one side, the same side (right) and needing to shim them up.
I don't generally spend a lot of time flipping them up or down, but the rear will go up anytime I'm trying to shoot something small with my red dot.
That isn't to say you won't get a crap set, but my experience has been positive.
Have to ask loonwulf, I believe he said the were no name Amazon sights. Think they were under $20 to.Just curious. Which ones were you guys getting for 29 bucks that worked? I wouldnt mind ordering some.

The product page is gone, but they are just generic aluminum flip up sights. Those are simpler than some, and dont have a spring up, or lock down function. I had a set that did both, that i got off ebay for about 25 bucks, and besides not sitting completely flat they worked as advertised.Have to ask loonwulf, I believe he said the were no name Amazon sights. No flat top. There are some nice a2 type rear sights. Are you using an A2 front sight? You can get a decent quality rear sight for what you will pay for a cheap front and rear set.
