This is for those that like AR’s.
I have the basic black AR’s, but I also have some with different colors.
When I decide to build one with a different color, I thought that OD Green it would be. But that changed to FDE. I still like the other colors and have built many in different colors over the last few years.
So, what’s your favorite color when it comes to AR’s
Post pics if you have them.

Gunny Black is my favorite non color. After that all the rest. I’ve warmed up to FDE, camo grey and all of the other cool colors.

Have most of the popular colors.....currently working on a complete polished and stainless AR version. May not serve a practical purpose, but its something about the cars from the 50's & 60's with an abundance of chrome that has always caught my attention.

#1 basic all black a2 type pistol
#2 target rifle, all black with stainless bull barrel
#3 burnt bronze basic carbine that i scratched up pretty bad finishing he lower (80%)) that got rattlecanned to FDE.

Each to his own and I would never deny someone that wanted one but for the life of me I do not understand the attraction to camo guns, of any type. I know they are popular and lots of people buy them but I have zero interest in a camo gun and I do a fair amount of hunting. Most of my firearms are blued and wood a few stainless and rubber one sparkly black and red Rem 1100 and three black AR-15 but zero camo guns!

To each his own I suppose, because I can not stand stainless and I like camo on ARs and bolt guns.

Most of my guns are blued on wood also. The camo thing makes no sense to me as well. Maybe if your overseas trying to blend in to your environment while at war. But back here? The animal will always smell you before he sees you.

I did paint my Rem 700 sps camo, but it was only a test trial to see if I could do it for a friend who wanted it done.

AR wise, black. Why not go with the original? To me its like saying "do you want your m14 in a synthetic stock with hints of blue on various parts".

But for guys like Gunny who have a dozen, why not mix up some colors? Pretty cool. Me not really interested in ARs, if I were to buy one, id try to get her close to Vietnam era. So I voted black.

The daughter likes the wilder colors so, we went purple with her’s.

Now when it comes to my youngest, Isaac, he likes the red & black. He also has one with green zombie camo.

Mine is basic black with a few accessories (rail covers and sling) in foliage green. It’s a green/gray muted color that breaks up the outline and monotony and I’ve always thought would make a suitable base color for camo with minimal fuss. Didn’t vote but mark me down for “I like ‘em all”.

A few stock online pics.

I added Foliage green. I have one AR in foliage green, I really like the color because it blends in with just about everything. I was sad when Magpul dropped it. It was a slow seller. But about 80% of foliage green stocks were sold in Louisiana.

Mostly, I've got black AR-15's but recently, I've used some gray and FDE furniture.

I am getting a bit wilder though. While not an AR, I recently bought an Eliseo Chassis for a bolt rifle in blue.

But, I am not as far as pink, purple or yellow--yet.:)

Well that forced me to vote Years ago I bought a Maxpedition pack for hunting in FG as well when gray was out of stock and even here in the Midwest it blends remarkably well in the woods. When I sit corn or bean fields, FDE. Wish the Governor would let me shoot a larger variety of critters with an AR so I could justify building (and painting) a couple more.
