I chose Hornady XTP, but usually I carry TAP. Sometimes XTP Custom +P's though.

Depends on what I'm packing.. In my Taurus PT145 I use the Taurus solid copper (Barnes) 185gr flying ashtrays. In my 10mm I carry Winchester 175 gr silvertips.

I know this is the auto forum, so without turning this into a wheelgun vs. auto thing, I usually carry my Ruger SP101, loaded with Speer SBGDHP 135 gr. .357mag.

I guess I should have qualified my post as that is what I carry in my .45ACP's. In 9mm I carry some REM UMC JHP's, WWB JHP's, Some Hornady.

In my .32NAA it's strictly Corbon. Of course they and Glaser are the only ones who load that caliber.

I get it that Gold Dot is the actual bullet used by a few different manufactures, but I'm curious why go with someone like double tap over say speer? Just asking?

Check the loading data.....noone (factory) loads 9mm +p or .45acp (non +p) to as high a velocity as Double Tap. ...and they're actually pretty cheap!

Right after I wrote that I went to the site. Order two boxed of 165gn .40 S&W GD and 1 box 147gn 9mm GD.

Pretty impressive numbers.
