I heard SigArms in Exeter NH was hiring again, that's a 45 minute commute for me

Run.

Unless you like 6 12 hour days with no other options. Frienf of mine on another board worked for them for 90 days and quit due to the conditions. But he had a family that wanted to see him too. Said it was a horrible place to work, with a lot of QC problems.

LEO @ state level

My F-150 has 231,000 miles on the odometer , going for the quarter million mark !!

Prison Officer, been at it 16 years, transferred to a women's prison 6 years ago after 10 years working in men's maximum security prisons and it's a bloody lunatic assylum! Before that - Australian Army - Corporal.

Drive a 92 EB Ford, also drive a 05 Mitsubishi Outlander when "her indoors" lets me, like them both.

It's really exciting to see the number of university faculty

on 'The High Road.'
Perhaps this will help to strip away the stereotype of college profs as 'ivory tower' egg heads.

Hey, I admit to being a technical nerd, and my family complains when I mention at a Star Wars movie that the space ship violated the law of conservation of momentum. But, my work as an engineer takes me out into the real world on a regular basis.

And, on top of that, I love shooting which I learned after being drafted in 1967, and motorcycles since I started riding in 1965.

I am the Sergeant of a three-man Rapid Tactical Force at one of America’s largest indoor retail shopping areas.

Darn it Jamz, you beat me to it.

I run a small Mortgage and Insurance business. Besides having a lot of friends who shoot, as a small business owner I got into firearms due to a NEED to carry.

I forgot where the car part came in.

Anyway, 2000 Infiniti G20T with 196,000+ miles on it and she still purrs like a kitten...but squeaks when you stop. Gotta take her to the shop.

Now: Embedded systems engineer for an industrial controls company. Edging toward retirement.

Past: Engineering team leader for Ford Motor Company. Retired from that position in 1998 when I saw the handwriting on the wall from the mandatory MCR (materiel cost reduction) hit my vehicle was going to take. Today is the last day of production at the plant that built my vehicle.

After literally driving everything from a Yugo to a Ferrari as part of my job, I now drive a '99 Sebring convertible and my wife has an '03 Trail Blazer. I have better things to do with my money than sink it into vehicles.

Hydrogeologist

Have a B.S. in geology, working on an M.S. in hydrogeology

I drive an '04 Tacoma 4wd

College student with two jobs. I can only afford guns when I get my student loan refund check. :D Government gives you a lot of money for college and tax refund when you're poor (but definately able to provide for), married, and have 2 kids.

Antivirus specialist, computer forensics examiner - although I've gone into sales to add another skill to the resume (and I HATE it!). Sign me up for the JBT stuff, willya? ;)

I teach college multimedia courses, do advertising photography, design and brand development. Right now, I need to get out of teaching and back to doing advertising full time.

Could use leads on ad director/creative director positions or something similar in Nashville...connections, anyone? Resume and portfolio available on request.

Work for the state of Montana as a meat inspector
drive a '95 Chevy Z71 with 165000 miles

That's you?!
You, sir, are on my list.
One does what one can! :D

Actually, the stuff I'm currently working on isn't on the point of sale itself, but rather the servers they talk to. I expect to be learning some C++ to back up the primary terminal guy next year.

Oh, and I drive a 2006 Scion tC. LOVE it!! Toyota build quality, without the price! :D

I work in the motorcycle industry. I am a parts/service advisor/tech/salesman...pretty much whatever the boss needs done at that time.

Edit: Most of the time I am at the parts counter getting yelled at for being on THR!

Almost forgot, I drive a '97 TJ with a 4" lift. It's the reason I don't own more guns, and my guns are the reason I havn't done more to the Jeep.
