Shotgun. something about mounting a well-fitting gun, and it being truly a part of the body. never have to look at my own gun while shooting.

rifle/handgun... i'm fair to good at them. problem with me is i usually shoot my handgun like a shotgun... both eyes wide open, focused on the target, point shooting.

i shoot paintball more accurately from the hip than the shoulder. something bou tthe size and shape of those things.

Never shot a shotgun. Rifles are probably easier for me to shoot, but since I shoot a handgun FAR more often, I'm best with it... depends on the gun too. I couldn't hit a house with a Glock, but I'm a pretty good shot with my Beretta (it's a grip thing).

My current passion is my 45/70 stainless shooting a 405 grain at 100 - 150 yards open site.

And my 10/22 as well.

:D

I'm good with my 795. 25 yards, rapid fire ( mostly double taps and triple taps in rapid succession. and I mean rapid. someone on the range asked if it was full auto. i guess so much paintball has helped my trigger finger). All the shots are in a 1-2" circle. Colt .38 Special is a tack driver, but I'm not that great of a shot. I can't shoot past 15 yards. But within that, all the shots are almost touching. Shotgun, I usually bust about 45 out of 50 clays in informal shooting. I don't know if you'd call it trap or skeet, cause I don't know the difference  . My mini, well, it's somewhat difficult to judge my accuracy with it cause it's not the most accurate weapon (at least thats my excuse ;) ) My friends turk, i can hit a 8" gong, offhand, at 200 yds., only problem is the thing gets heavy toward the end.

3 gun competitor

1. Usually win the local shotgun stages.
2. Usually place in the top 3 with rifle.
3. Usually place in the top 10 with a pistol.

Lucky for the other guys that it isn't 2 gun! :D

I shoot my handguns most of the time and only rarely shoot rifles or shotguns. As a result, I shoot handguns better.

I voted rifle. I am by no means a marksman, but I am most comfortable with a rifle. Pistol ranges are by far more accessible for me right now, so that's what I've practicing the most.
