I’m currently going through a bucket of Golden Bullets with my TX22 Competition and have not had one failure. Between my Competition and my Standard TX22 they have fired everything I’ve fed them and I’ve found little to no difference in accuracy. Either one of them will consistently bullseye at 25 yds on a 4 in target.
IMHO Taurus really hit a home run with the TX22. I picked mine up for like ~$240 at a gun show shortly after they first came out. I've got about 1500 rounds through mine and have never taken in down for cleaning except after the initial outing to inspect it. I just wipe it down and put it away for next time. Zero failures of any kind. I shoot mostly Federal bulk pack 36 gr (Champion or Walmart value packs) and 40 gr Aquila Super Extra (their cheapest, plated high velocity and un-plated standard velocity). With these ammo its unusual to make 600 rounds without starting to get stovepipes or failure to fully return to battery from the crud that builds up in my Ruger.
