Favorite: my Kimber Custom Classic. I picked it up 10 or so years ago after reading about the new 1911 manufacturer. S/n in the low 6000's and dead on realiable. I can only remember 3 or 4 ftf of the 1000 or so rounds through it. It will never be sold, and eventually passed to one of my boys.

Favorite: CZ-75B .40 S&W
Least Favoite: CZ-100B

How a company can go from making such a fantastic firearm, to such a piece of garbage... I'll never know.

Tough question!

Favorite Pistol: Currently Glock 19. I carry a G-23, but the 19 is more of a pleasure to shoot and more fun to "tinker" with than the Kimber Pro Carry. Cheaper to feed too!

Favorite Revolver: No contest. S&W Model 66(pre-lock). Why in the world these were discontinued baffles me. I also carry a 642 often and love it, but it is more utilitarian in nature and I don't get the "warm fuzzies" like I do with the 66's.

Favorite Shotgun: Benelli M1 Super 90 12g. Has served me well time, and time again. I feel it is getting heavier and heavier every bird season though, and think the Montefeltro 20g could be the winner if I could justify the $$$ to buy one.

Favorite Rifle: Dead Tie. Marlin 336C .30-30 or Marlin 1894CS .357MAG. What can I say, I love lever guns.:)

Currently Least Favorite:

AK's & AR's.

Don't get me wrong, I'm desperately trying to get these into my "pleasure" zone. Own a RRA 16" CAR and working on a DPMS 20" build.

The AR rifles are expensive, and quality ammo is even worse. When I have come across some inexpensive ammo, they won't allow me shoot it at the range or I can't trust it in my rifle! In the surplus area, I'm still trying to figure out M855, SS109, something 193...frustrating.

The .223/5.56 55gr. commercial ammo I'm used to, like WWB or AE, is now upwards to $12/20 or more if I can find it. Just a foot down the shelf is .308WIN for the same price! Hmmmm. So I got quality guns I can't afford to feed.

Guns I can't afford to feed, quickly go to the least favorite list.

So I figure I'll go 7.62x39. What the hell, @ $200/1000 it's worth looking into right? Even more frustrating. Sure the ammo is inexpensive, but the rifles out there are cheaply made as well, factory 2nd's slapped together junk from what I have seen. I'd rather spend the $500 on a case of quality 5.56 ammo than on a WASR-10.

I've looked into Arsenal and other "so called" high end AK's. But have found I'm right back where I started from with little advantage.

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

You get my point!:D

Most favorite: 16" Midlength A3 AR-15, built by me.

Least favorite: Sistema 1911A1. Quit going fully back into battery, it bites me all the :cuss: time, and the finish is oooooglleeeee. :barf:

4040pd

My favorite, never sell/trade, is my Smith-Wesson, AirLite 4040PD (.40S&W)
It performs very well at the range and under most conditions easy to carry and conceal here in SW Florida.

My least favorite is the AMT 380 9MM Kurz Back Up, don't fire it much because it is too hard to take apart to clean and it would sell so cheap I just keep it.

I like collecting guns, and as such, each gun I own has some level of meaning. There are few I don't like, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get rid of them. My safe is like the Hotel California, they can check in, but they may never leave.

Some of my favorites are;
Bushy M4A3
XD45 Tactical
Marlin Camp 45
Marlin 60
Ithica 66 SS 20ga. (first gun)
Taurus M66SS4 .357
Mossy Persuader 12ga.
Beretta 92FS
Taurus PT145Pro
Norinco SKS
CZ82 (2)
Saiga .308 (22")
S&W 18-3

Some I like, but not my favorites;
Glock 22
Ruger 10/22
Marlin 25MN .22WMR
S&W 642
Norinco Paratrooper SKS
Yugo SKS (2)
CZ52
Kel-Tec P11
Mosin M38
Ruger M77MKII .30-06 All-Weather
Phoenix Arms HP22A
Mossy 500 28" vent-rib
Ishapore Enfield 2A1
Rossi M68

Some I really don't like, but I keep them anyway;

Old Iver Johnson 22Mag revolver
Cheap RG 22Short revolver
Jennings M48 .380
Knight USAK .50 Blackpowder rifle
1942 Turkish Mauser 8mm

I can't do it. That's asking me to pick a favorite child. I love all my children (and guns) equally.

My guns are like my kids. I love them all the same. Although my least favorite to shoot would have to be my Model 12. But I still shoot her just like I shoot every other gun I own. No safe queens in my safe.

Favorite: HRA M1 Garand
Least favorite: Tossup between Russian M38 carbine and Romanian M44 carbine- sort of the converse of the old saying "only accurate rifles are interestng."

Favorite: My .38 cal, 6" Colt Officer's Match model revolver (1961). It has a single action trigger that is too good to be believed and accuracy to match. When I'm not shooting, it's really beautiful to look at as well. From a bygone era when guns were hand-made.

Least: Mini-14 Ranch Rifle (for sale). After the barrel heats up a little, it can't hit the side of a barn. May be fun to shoot, but I keep asking myself, "why?"

Favorite?

M4gery with an Eotech. My default gun. I only wish .223 hadn't gotten so dang expensive (greedy terrorists hoarding all the good milspec stuff in their chest cavities....:neener:)

Least favorite?

My 92FS. It let me down once in a IPSC match. Haven't been able to trust 9mm since.

-Pistol-
Favorite: S&W 625. Love to shoot that gun. Accurate, fast, tidy.
Least Favorite: Wifes Taurus 94. Must be a 20 lb trigger and still fails to ignite some.

-Rifle -
Favorite: Weatherby Vanguard 7Mag. Good balance. Light and shoots sub moa.
Least Favorite: Century AK (not accurate enough for my taste)

-Shotgun-
Favorite: Savage Fox B. It shoots where I look.
Least favorite: Rem 870. I only have it for steel shot. Not a bad gun by any stretch.

My fav. Browning BLR 308

Least fav. Ruger Vaquero .45 (great gun, but Single Action revolvers are lower on my lift of preferences).

Favorite pistol: Colt Mark IV
Favorite rifle: HB SAR-48
Least favorite: Kel-Tec P32......Strange because it's the gun I have with me the most. It's just that it is pure function, nothing more. Ugly little sucker that rubs my finger the wrong way at the range. But it goes bang every time.

Favorite: How can I pick a Favorite? SA Mil-Spec Champion, 4", Black, Black Kings Trigger, D-Skelloton Hammer, Extended thumb safety, White Acrylic Grips... Just like Al Pachinos in the movie "HEAT". My first 1911 that I did most of the gunsmithing to myself, I wanted a pistol like it for about 10 years before I build it.

Least Favorite: Sold it 3 weekends ago... I Love everything that's left in the safe, I won't just "keep it around", everything has a purpose and a purpose it does serve, if I turn out to not take a likeing to a firearm, I get rid of it and get something that I want.

Favorite: my 6" Colt Python Revolver ... action as smooth as glass!
Least Favorite: my my Enfield 2A1 (.308) ... an insult to the Enfield line!

My favorite gun of all time is my Double Star M4gery I built. My least favorite (that I currently own) would be a CVA 50 cal muzzleloader.

My favorite (although not nearly the most valuable), a 1917 Colt Comercial 1911, carried by my Grandfather:

1911.jpg

My least favorite, a cheap Astra A75 40 cal:

40cal.jpg

Favorite? That's tough. Can I have 2? 627-5PC and a 1911.
Least favorite? Bersa .380. Yeah, it shoots like a laser, its compact, and cuter than a bugs ear. But its the last kid to get picked for the team every time. I have so many things that do its job better.

My Favorite: Kimber SIS, works perfectly, points point of aim, enough said.

Least Favorite: EAA Windicator, the frame split under the forcing cone, sent it for repair, got it back in three months and trigger was not resetting without pulling it. Sent it again, another two months. Now, it sits in a box and I don't know what to do with it.

Wow! Another old thread comes back to life.

There's too many to name just one as a favorite. Garand, Hi-Power, M1917 Enfield, SVT-40, numerous M1 Carbines, Rem.-Rand 1911A1, three screw Blackhawk, S&W Target Masterpiece, Franchi 912, Rem. 870, Win. 1873, several Win. 1892, a couple of Trapdoors, AG-42b, Stevens 311 20 ga.(first gun). Each one tops the list on any particular day.

Least favorite-That's an easy one. Glock 22. Horible ergonomics, horrid accuracy, and I still don't trust the lack of a manual safety (for a carry weapon). But they're selling at double what I paid for it a few years ago, gotta love it for that.
