What is the last gun that you bought?

I've been enjoying the recent influx of Zastava M70 bolt action rifles, and the price pressure put on Interarms Mark X and Whitworth bolt action rifles.

Most recent purchase: 300 Win Mag 24" barrel, not yet shipped - payment in transit.

Second most recent purchase" 7X64mm Brenneke 20" barrel full stock (Mannlicher style). Awaiting scope mounting.

Third most recent purchase: 7mm-08 22" barrel Zastava M70 barreled action mounted on Boyd's laminated stock with Timney trigger retaining thumb slide safety. Sig Sauer Whiskey5 2-10X42mm Hellfire Duplex reticle scope mounted & bore sighted, not yet sighted in at a range. I plan for this to become my primary hog & deer rifle.

Got a buy one get two free deal. Top to bottom is a Smith and Wesson Model 15-3, a H&R 929 I believe, and an Iver Johnson in 32 S&W. Both the Iver Johnson and H&R have function issues. The 15-3 has serial number matching stocks which was a very pleasant surprise.

I like the look of that 929, that has exotic cylinder flutings... any idea of a year???

I've got an SFX and a SF, both have been flawless. The SFX has almost 5k rounds through it.
I have an SF, it's tied as my favorite pistol. I have about 3 k rounds (9 brands) through it, not a failure of any kind. They are definetely service grade guns, which makes sense, because various military and law enfocement use it. I never would have paid any attention to it because they are so inexpensive, but my instructor (Frontsight and former RCMP hostage situation trooper) carries one daily. I went to the gunshop to buy another pistol, but the grip made me jerk right every pull, so I tried the Canik - angels and choir music instantly. Great trigger, great grip.

Now that is just old world kick butt elegance..
......... Thanks for the compliment. Always wanted one of each. They're both G.I. bring backs and they both came back in P-38 Holsters. My late uncle didn't have a holster for that Luger so he put it into a P-38 Holster he got from another G.I. to bring it home in. The P-38 came to me with the proper holster that it came here in. So now I have two WW2 P38 holsters. One of each style. Did some research on them. Two main types; the black one's called a hardshell & the brown one's a softshell. Can only make out one small German acceptance marking on the inside of the softshell, but the hardshell is 1943 dated with makers code and acceptance stamps easily visible. And now there's a "group photo" of the holsters. IMG_9575.JPG & markings- soft shell under flap: IMG_9145.JPG and the back of the hardshell: IMG_9140.JPG .

Really happy about it..

My first shotgun was a 425, then i owned a couple of Berettas for years.
I guess things have come full circle.

Do you guys use the 7"1/2 for SASS.
My vaqueros weight are just fine. But larger I do hesitate to share with my wife. I would love a pair in 38/357.

Just managed to catch PSA's christmas sale.
Now I'm waiting on a new AK to arrive to replace the Saiga I had to sell in tougher times.

I wouldn't normally outfit one with quite that furniture, but let's try something new, eh? If I don't like it, I won't feel bad for ditching it and finding some old surplus wood stock for a refinishing project.

Love the holsters, nice combo.. Amazed that that acceptance marked survived as well as it did considering all its gone through.. As of late I am liking those softshell holsters more and more, they are just so minimal compared to the hard shell holsters.
