What is the last gun that you bought?

I just picked up a CZ75B Omega. Will be shooting it this Friday. Today I threw in a bid on a mint Beretta 92F/S from Gunbroker and won it even though I thought I would be outbid. That is to replace one I sold a few years back that I regretted selling. 2 guns from my want list. It'll be a while until I get more

Can't believe that I am back so soon.

Picked up a Beretta Pico .380 today, and also ordered an FDE grip frame from Beretta in order to practice some texturing. Seems to be a real nice compact pistol. Build quality is very good. The pistol has some quirks, like the mag release and the pinky extender on the extra mag. I am wondering why they didn't make that mag larger capacity instead of the stock 6 rounds.

I’ve shot the Pico and the Nano. I think they are well made but I don’t care for them because, the point down for me. The Nano points so low, I worry that I might shoot my self in the foot. The Pico is even worse. When I shoot a Pico, I’m afraid that I won’t be able to have kids again.;)
I hope it doesn’t point to low for you.

I got a Winchester 94 lever action .30-30 this past Saturday.

Partly to commemorate my late Grandma, who was 95 when she passed recently. I thought it was a fitting way for me to honor her, given my hobby.

I consider both the cartridge and the person to be American classics.

Love my Pico!

I think they decided not to make two different mag bodies for budgetary reasons, the only difference between the two is the baseplate. I really like how every part is steel except the grip module. Great little pistol!

That was one thing that I checked. Did the eyes closed, bring it up, open eyes routine, and it seemed OK for me. Thanks for your concern.

Most recent was a Savage Axis .270 for the kid (well, actually for me, as if I needed an excuse). Very first mod was a Boyds stock. Great shooting rifle for the money.

Didn't plan on buying one today... but:
Walmart closeout weatherby vanguard select, .30-06, $249.

It was marked at $449 and I asked them to scan it, they had no idea they were marked down so low.

I picked this up at a local gunstore. Some of you might remember seeing one of these in your last Georgia staycation . It would have been an involuntary staycation as this is a Georgia Department of Corrections pistol. I did not like the vintage S&W grips, I installed Pachmayr clamshells. I have another, blued M10, but the price was right, the firing pin is on the hammer, and I love the weight, balance, and ergonomics of these K frame pistols. A 38 Special is mild mannered, I don't get beat up. I love the things.

It shot well enough out to fifty yards. I am a bit out of practice, but it will hold 12" in an offhand position, which is a lot farther than any reasonable person would use a handgun in a self defense situation.

Two Walther P22 QD's. Nice accurate guns without too many failures which I would say were ammo related.I would say out of two hundred rds. I had maybe 3 FTE, two FTF. So it will be fun at the range with the wife.

An NM Springfield 1911a1, looks to be a Mil spec, wearing the parked finish, used but not terribly. $500 with 5 assorted mags, no box. I didn't steal it, but I think I did OK

Today I bought the Springfield "Saint" model AR-15. It's the first M4 style carbine I bought with the mid length (I think that's what it's called) gas system. Has T marked receiver rail, MOE handguard, F marked front sight tower, collapsable metal rear buis, M4 type bolt carrier, and H marked buffer. It looks like a nice well made carbine.
Gotta put it through some paces.

Yea...I know the name is silly. Do you judge a book by its cover?;)

Just bought a Sauer 100 classic xt in 8x57.
I have been a "collector" of German K98s, and really like the 8mm mauser cartridge, but, I have been looking for a modern hunting rifle in 8mm and I think I have found a good one.
I pick it up on Wed.

Last gun I bought was a Vickers Edition Glock 17. My first Glock. Have to say, it's a nice piece. I had to do a relief cut on the underside of the trigger guard. Stupid finger grooves just didn't match up to my hand. Previous owner put night sights, and a Vogle trigger too. I like it enough that it has replaced my 1911 as my daily carry gun. I can put my TLR1 on it, it's lighter, and carries more ammo. My 1911 is now my "dress" gun.
