S&W 686+. Oddly it's more accurate with .357 loads than .38. Scary accurate out pretty far.
How interesting, same here, plain Jane off the shelf Colt in .38 Super. I live in a very rural area and have lost count on the number of critters that I've eliminated with this Colt, all moving targets including critical situations.I'm sure asked and answered many times, but I haven't seen it. What is the most accurate pistol you own. For me, it's 5" Colt government .38 super. Wow, it is like shooting 10' targets. Next would be my Springfield light weight loaded. if you are not too bored, what are your's
Chocolate Bayou - "I'm on the north side of 60, I've had 5 shoulder surgeries and three shoulder replacements. I have a cataract on my right eye and will have to have it removed soon. I don't need a "super accurate" gun, I'm never going to be a bulls eye shooter again."
"Sometimes things just hit like a ton of bricks and this was one of them."
Impureclient said:Not directing at anybody in particular, I would pay to see somebody shoot any handgun at 25 yards and get some of the groups claimed in here. A video of anything close to 1" does not exist on the internet it seems. You'd think with the advent of youtube pretty much having a video of anything you can imagine, somebody would have done so at this point. Maybe a better description of how groups are shot would shed light on this.
