what "trick shots" can you do?

Was watching a couple of episodes of Extreme Marksmen I had TIVO'd the other day and it made me wonder if we had any extreme marksmen on THR.

Well, those guys can shoot that well consistently, however, if this is a "share your stupidly lucky shots" thread, I have LOTS of those, and I'm sure everybody else does too.

Here is one I like to pull out once in a while:

I keep a bag of balloons in my locker at work (indoor range).

I'll stuff one inside another, blow up the inner one to about 4-5 inches and tie it off.
Then I'll blow up the outer one to a few inches larger and tie it off.

I'll hang the whole thing downrange about 10 yards. I'll shoot only the outer balloon, then try to pick up the smaller one and hit it before it hits the ground. It kicks out at random angles each time, so while it is an achievable challenge, it isn't easy.

With something that approaches consistency, I can shoot a hand tossed clay from the hip with my benelli M1.

I can break clays one handed, but that's hardly trick shooting. I know a guy with one arm that breaks 'em all that way.

Best shot: I shot a flying dove, once, with a Crossman BB gun (yes, it was illegal - single projectile gun - but a) I didn't know that; b) whoda thunk I would have hit it; and c) statute of limitations has expired).

Since then, I'm lucky if I hit one with a shotgun!

Once upon a time at Boy Scout camp I did the 'split a black powder rifle bullet over an axe head to break two clays' trick pretty consistently. I think the distance was about 10ft.

I can light wooden matches with a .22......about 50% of the time.

At 20 feet with a 45 apc. I can split a card on edge. It sometimes takes more than one shot, but never more than three. Ditto with a quarter, those are hard to find though. Where I see them hit is not where they are so far only recovered two.

i can do the card trick too...we have all our students do it the last day of our 3 day classes

the .45 makes it easier than a 9mm...we usually shoot from 7-10 yards...it's all trigger control

Back in my muzzleloading days, 30 years ago, I did the axe/clay pigeon and split card trick many times.

Nowadays I'm best at missing, very consistant too!

I've shot a smiley face on the target in an indoor range in front of witnesses with a S&W 25-7 .45 Colt. Damn accurate pistol!

I was playing around the other day by putting a large-ish soup-can (a little bigger than the regular Campbell's soup can) behind a regular 12-oz soda can. Trick was to shoot the soup can and not knock the soda can over. Even more fun was trying to add one of those little 6-oz soda cans in front; shoot the soup can, then the 12-oz soda can, then the little one.

Distance was about 10-15 yards with a Uberti SAA clone chambered for .357 Mag. shooting handloaded .38 Spc. I was able to be pretty consistent too, considering I had the sun in my eyes.

I can consistently hit three hand thrown clays (~90%) and three thrown behind the back almost as well (~50%). I could do the three behind the back 90%, but it's just a matter of the "throw" being awkward.

Also, just started practicing the two hand thrown clays, shoot the first right-handed, shoot the second left-handed. Very awkward.

Easy trick that works every time: stack two glass bottles and have two shooters aim at the bottom bottle. The second shooter fires when he hears the first shot--result is both bottles busted.

I can consistantly miss the bullseye at 65 feet, does that count?
