What about an option for those of us who are under 21 but carry? There are several states that issue licenses to those under 21 and several more that let those under 21 carry if they're a licensed non-resident.

There are states where you don't have to be 21 to legally own a pistol??

27 - living in southern new mexico I pocket carry a taurus tcp 380 from about may-sept, once it cools off a bit I carry a G19 in a crossbreed supertuck. A few times this summer I got a wild hair up my ass, and decide to carry the glock. Im planning on trying to carry it more now, just had to get some bigger t shirts.

22, mostly carry a Beretta M9 and/or an M4 and occasionally even a mossberg 500 ...In civilian attire it's almost always an S&W TSW9 5906, it's heavier but about the same size of the glock 19 I prefer it over

Analysis: 1911's are a bit more popular with those in their 30's, revolvers with those 40 and above. But overall, the ratios are very close.

I know there are a limit to how many options you can include in polls, but I feel that the 1911/HP or Modern/Poly divide is way too broad (especially that poly bit).

I'm in my late twenties, and I carry a CZ P-01 9mm.

Metal gun. DA/SA. CZ 75 derivatives are themselves loosely based on the Hi-Power.

So, not sure where exactly that's supposed to fall in the poll.

Well, I'm over 60 and I carry a DA revolver most of the time and if not a revolver, I carry a 1911. I have also been known to a SA revolver.

I carry a pf9 most frequently. Other times, an officer size 1911. I prefer the .45 but it's hard for me to conceal with my frame in the summer.

I tried a j-frame, but it was just uncomfortable and awkward to carry.

I am 51, and I usually carry a Kel-Tec P-11 with 12rd mag. It's light, high cap, accurate, and SMALL. Sometimes I carry my FEG GKK .45. It really depends on the situation and clothing.

However, if I did carry, it would be a S&W 637 (J-frame) with Hornady Critical Defense ammunition, carried in a pocket holster.
