Kel Tec. They're local and would love to support them but bought one (9mm) a few years back and it blows - it's my last resort "junk" gun now. Echo the Taurus posts (don't care if anyone worked at Beretta previously).
My Rem 700 30-06 has been VERY reliable for over 20 years and my SIG 226 and 238 have been (literally) perfect (don't have a SIG 220 so can't opine on that specific model Master - would love to hear your woes to educate myself). My Ruger revolvers (an old Speed 6 and a new GP100) have been fine, no complaints.
My only problems have been shooting friends' cheap ARs. Mostly the uppers, as the lowers are effectively made by only a couple of companies so the variance seems to come down to triggers, et al in the lowers.
Boatload of pages here - seems all of us don't like SOMETHING. Rorschach test!
