Any pistol or revolver with a barrel longer than 4 inches
Well, here's a classic example of what 72 pages and more than 5 years of posts has wrought:
And of course, nothing further. Typical of most of the posts in this thread.
I guess what I'm asking is, what's the point?
"ANYTHING" made big SIG? Really? Don't hate on the brand for a mistake (as well as the P2022). That's like saying the Rem 700 has trigger issues...OK sorry, couldn't resist.Anything made by SIG Arms.
My Sig P220 ST is the most expensive unreliable, inaccurate, piece of crap ever made.
Their customer service is the worst in the industry.
We got to 76 pages on this one (so far)? Wow we have WAYYYY too much time on our hands and hate A LOT of product. This is so subjective it's noise. Surprised the mods let it go this long. Vast majority subjective crap. Technical would be abetter way to do this - sorry to weigh in so late guys but been overseas and some of our "Allies" block such illustrious pages as THR.
I fail to see how that's the fault of the rifle...AK's - more U.S. military men and women who returned in a coffin as a result of small arms fire died from this weapon; I will never let one in my home;
Justify their cost? If I had to do that, I wouldn't have bought so many!Probably any of the HK line of pistols. Just can't justify the cost. They are probably great firearms, just too much $.
This,Anything with a key lock in it.
S&W Python, bought one in mid 60s, was a piece of total junk, two boxes of factory ammo and it was a horror.
For the same reason that some people would rather not buy Chinese goods, or blood diamonds, or gas at a BP or Mobil station(s). Or even buy the products from a competitor to your business. After all, it's not the fault of the goods, the diamonds, the oil or whatever else you might choose to buy.I fail to see how that's the fault of the rifle...
I find the hi-point hate to be misplaced and generally a bit ignorant.
They're American made, reliable, and inexpensive. Yes, they're ugly as heck, but if you're a poor college student, or on a limited budget and need a defensive handgun, you can afford a hi-point where you wouldn't be able to afford a more expensive more "prestigious" firearm.
Most of the hate seems to come from the design, which is required to make them as cheap as they are. And with the lifetime no questions asked warentee, you don't get left in the cold as you could with more expensive manufacturors.
