I forgot to mention that if you find a scope you really like but The range that it is adjusted for is incorrect for your application, You can usually adjust them yourself.
Until recently most scopes I messed with, all you had to do was loosen the lock ring on the front of the objective bell, and then the objective lens assembly would screw in and out with little effort.
MOST scopes, Even ones with side focus and AO, Don't adjust quite right for my eyes and outside of 5-600 yards I often have issue resolving. I've adjusted many of my scopes as such, and only the newest Chinese ones I've seen are using a hardening locking compound that needs heat to release.
Even those will soften and you can adjust them, and when they cool down again the compound hardens back up and locks your adjustments in place.
So far no failures, but you never know when you're tinkering with stuff with like this.
