forget values and replaceability. I'd say sell the one that gets shot the least. Or the one that gets taken out and fondled the least. I'd rather have 1 gun I love than 3 I'm only sort of in to.
Some guns ARE like GOLD and worth keeping. But I've sold or traded a number of mine over the years, and that has allowed me to end up with far better weapons -- guns that I really enjoy shooting, and admire when they're not being shot.
Keeping a so/so gun -- and despite my best efforts, I have had a few so/so (or worse) guns -- seems a bit like elevating a tool to religious icon status. I'd rather not, thank you.
If you've never bought a mediocre gun, then I'll understand.
If so, you've either been lucky, or have different tastes and standards than I do -- or are simply a much more discerning buyer. Either way, good for you.
And, if we're talking about the WC Berrttas I've been reading about, they're not your average (run of the mill) Berettas; they've been acurized and are real tack drivers. If it's a less "custom" Beretta, then I agree -- sell the Beretta.
Sig p226 tacops 9mm
I have a plain vanilla P226 CPO. It was not my cup of tea as an IDPA SSP so now it is my "house gun."
Dan wesson Eco 9mm
I have a SA Ultra Compact that is OK, a good IDPA BUG or CCP. But I carry something smaller.
S&W 627 PC 8rd 2"
A 2" N frame is just weird. Sell it.
Wilson Combat Beretta 92
Be interesting to work with but if it were not substantially better than the P226, I would let a Wilson buff have it.
S&W 686 no dash 8 3/8 exc cnd
S&W 586 no dash 8 3/8 exc cnd w/ box
S&W 17-4 8 3/8 exc cnd
I don't care for 8 3/8" S&Ws, but if you do, hang on to them, they will not be back, especially the blue guns. I would not part with my 4 and 6 inch versions.
