It's a bad picture that I just found but it does give you an idea on what you would be dealing with when it comes to the detachable magazine.
 
Shouldn't be too much. Actually probably cheaper, as the Savages make it easier to mount a scope. So really, All I'd need to d othe proper inletting and it'd be sent away. I'll let you know when I get everything figured out on the first stock. That's going to be where I figure out pricing on everything, so.
 
If you werent on the opposite side of the country i could let you use some tools i have access to all sorts of odds n ends carving and wood working tools that my great grandpa had and left to all of my family
 
Well, another set back. LoonWulf informed me that his machinist friends aren't going to be doing the bedding block. I'll ask around here, see if someone would be interested in doing something like this pro bono.
 
Yeah sorry guys, id hoped at least one of my friends would be able to get this done. Ill keep checking around as well, but so far the free works out for the near future.
 
It's difficult finding time now-a-days, when I was gainfully employed being a welder, our busiest times were from late-fall through winter, until early spring. We were usually dead in the summer.
 
That's kinda what one of the guys said, he's been getting busier year round but I just missed a pretty long break when I asked earlier. I'm glad he's got work, but dammnit I wanted our stuff LOL.
 
Thank you all for helping! Pulled some odd jobs together, threw together all of my change, and when I get the funds from PayPal in my account, the 10th hopefully, I'll be finding a buddy with a truck to bring the materials home.
 
Still looking for a truck and a ride, lol. It's been a busy month for family and friends.

I might be able to get the materials this weekend after the hustle and bustle of preparing for Thanksgiving dies off.

I'm just as excited as you guys are! It feels like I'm getting ready to go to Worlds of Fun for the first time, lol!

But soon, very soon, I'll have the materials put together and glued. I'll do photos and maybe videos of the process as well.
