Who'd like to see these stocks on the market?

Would you like to see any/all these stock designs on the Market?

I can only work on them during the weekdays when it's just me at home. From 715 am to 1215 pm, then 1pm to 415 pm. I have to work around everyone's schedules here so I don't cause an annoying disturbance.

I'm starting to get giddy for the modular design, CAA has all lengths polymer forends for $20 through sportsmans guide.

Probably could it would likely be quite a bit of work and the gun would likely end up pretty front heavy

It might be possible, but like Loon said, it'd throw off the balance quite a bit. I can see what you're saying though. It'd be pretty handy.

BTW, still trying to get the materials. Things aren't falling into place as well as I had hoped.

Not really, if you consider chopping the stock again at the first barrel band and doing the AR fore end mod that Iraqveteran8888 did. Then you have something fun.

Maybe. You still have a lot of weight forward of the reciever, though. Coupled with almost no weight of the plastic... I guess it wouldn't hurt anything but increased felt recoil when sitting on a bipod or sand bags.

On a short barreld rifle it would probably be ok, my 91/30 with its long tube was STILL front heavy after i cut off the front of the stock, ditched the handguard and sight. It only got to the right point in balance after i stubbed the barrel, and added weight to the rear of the stock.

Whats the point to using an AR forend? ive seen it a couple times now, and i dont see any added utility.

Well I think it's more for the modularity. I don't know what anyone would add to it, but all I can see myself adding on one of those is a bipod. Even then, I'd probably just go with a sling stud. It's what others like, though, and you know a good business model is one that listens to their intended customers, lol.

i suppose so. I could see it on a full chassis, but just the for end...well maybe with a matching rear.

If I manage to not completely screw up a banged up POS 91/30 stock (probably get off of gunbroker) and make it work, I'll post the build process and you are welcome to do with it what you will. Though, I wouldn't put money on me succeeding.

Well as soon as I can get through the issues of getting a ride down to Menards to get the materials, I'll start the lamination process right there. The problem is getting the ride. My dumb-butt had to sell two of my trucks for a car back in March, then in another stroke of idiocy, lose my liscense racing illegally in city limits.

Had I managed to keep my mind on a more mature level that night, or just realize back in March that I'm more of a truck person, I'd not be in this no liscense situation.

So, as soon as I am able to find a ride to Menards, I'll get the start on the SV-98 design. Hopefully soon!

Street racing is never a good idea LOL (not that ive ever done that....nooooo)......getting caught is worse :p

How long your license get taken away for?

Id pick up your stuff for you, but hawaii is a bit of a drive lol. When ever you get the stuff is fine, looking forward to it :D

It's pulled until June of 2012. God, I wish I could learn to keep my foot out of my Honda's pedal when there's a jack-hole right next to me revving his sickly little Toyota like it's worth something... Ugh, lol. Well, the world's supposed to end 6 months after I get my liscense back... Coincidence? I think not, lol. JK.

I'm looking forward to it myself, too. I'm getting fidgety and excited, lol, because I decided to drop my Savage into one as well! LOL.

Yeah waiting to get rolling on projects is hard. Ive actually been waiting on a bunch of projects lately, took them as far as no money allows LOLs. Ive been doing odd ball gun projects for friends to pass the time. Right now im working on a friends rossi break barrel .243, thats an obstinate little beast.

Getting your license yanked suxs, thats a pretty long stint too. Hondas are VERY popular here, A friend of mine has/had (havent seen him since we got layed off) a benson 18 blocked hatch laying out some 400whp, things a little beast. Another buddy with more money then....well anything else apparently....had a 700+hp (also benson blocked I THINK, tho i know he was talking about a Dart block also) hatch, i never got to ride in or even get a good look at that one. Im the odd ball out in our group, i drive Hyundais LOL.
