Why do you love/hate your State (in relation to firearms opportunities)?

Colorado has its pluses :
1) A generally positive attitude toward firearms
2) We have at least 6 big gun show's a year out here
3) Shall issue CCW
4) Open carry is legal as well
5) Several good shooting ranges a short drive away
6) A substantial hunting culture, hunting is huge in Colorado

The negatives :
1) Denver - its full of liberals who have a significant influence on the legislature.
2) State run database of CCW permit holders, this I really don't like.
3) Californian's are invading this state.

You can not carry into schools in Mass.

I lived in California until April of '06.

I now live in Texas.

I have seen the worst of hoplophobia in California, and the best of respect for the 2nd Amendment in Texas.

There is a God enthroned in heaven, and all is right with the world.

The problem with Arizona is you cannot legally carry anywhere you'd normally want to go...especially restaurants. I wasn't impressed.

Really? Where (besides restaurants, we're really working on that one) couldn't you carry that you wanted to? I carry everyday (often open) and never have any problems.
