12 members of out club braved 38 degree temps and 20- 25 mph gusts to shoot two rounds of trap before we gave up, i lucked into a 25-25 and a 22-25 with my 1187 trap, finishing up with a 47-50. next high score was a 24-25 and a 22-25 with 46-50 useing a browning BT-99. i should not have had a 25-25 as i just got a small chip off a semi straight away on station #3, it was a real elevator bird in the wind. we all got a few laughs seeing the birds dip-rise with the wind. eastbank.

That's extremely good shooting in that kind of wind, congratulations. It's amazing how much a clay will drop/climb in a strong wind.

A chip is as good as a smoked bird on paper eastbank. I've chipped my way through a lot of 25's with a .410 on the skeet range, but never got the elusive 100 straight with the .410, lots of 99's though.

Hahaha... that must have been something.

I always enjoy your posts, eastbank, because they're either pictures of great guns and/or your range reports. Thanks!
