There’s a real beauty in friendship. This knife has been my friend for years and has been with me in good times and bad times. It a friendship that has been to hell and back and we’re both still here.
Besides the survival features of this knife I have to say for a firearms manufacturer, S&W knew how to build some really awesome knives (with the help of Blackie Collins too)!
Few more I consider "pretty" , First is a Knife from THR member Sam1911 , I bought several of his and they all are good but this one "pretty" in my eyes.
Then the last Fowler I commissioned which is "pretty weird" It turned out to be a "Ballocks Sgian Dhu" knife for my Scottish mufti. It is W4 with fitted flute grade African Black wood handle. I can't warm to the serrated point he experimented with, it is wickedly sharp anf if it snapped off I would have Stephan shorten it . It does scare people tho and cuts little stuff quickly !
This recurve on left is a "camp knife" he made me is pretty in my eyes. I love his brut da forge and he interlockted the Buckeye Burl with the ebony skillfully and the thing IS a chopper !
This Randal "Smithsonian Bowie " has beautiful French Walnut Burl handle , it an a 6" Arkansaw Toothpick dagger with brass file work an old GE tan Micarta handle are the prettiest of my Randals. I got lots of great knives but most are Tactical or practical, I am not into art work on knives or guns .
Got this Harrison short sword in Arizona about 1983 , it is perfect in construction and hand and a half and very deadly balanced. The Sheath is very heavy duty and reminds me of the Milt Sparks leather at the time . It is scapel sharp and I love it it is not for sale and probably not worth that much as I can't find much on it's maker. I paid $300 1983 money for it - gladly!
