For those of you who are brand loyal, what exactly made you loyal to that brand? What made you loyal to Glock, Beretta, Sig, Springfield, S&W, Ruger, etc? Maybe some interesting stories will be shared.
Excellent reliability and good customer service...in that order. HK has been particularly impressive on the first one (but not the second) and S&W has been pretty good on the first, and amazing on the second.
Their customer service can be a bit sparodic, but it is seldom required. The weapons reek of quality, accuracy, and reliability. German engineering at its best.

What other company allows you to email/message their CEO to ask him questions personally? Top notch gun, top notch service!

I've got two Glocks and after some minor upgrades and tweeks, I absolutely trust my life to them. They worked perfectly well before the modifications. They just work even better specifically for ME now.
I own many different brands. Some brands out there I will swear by, others I will swear at. Not loyal to any one brand. I love most of them in one way or another. Although, However my most carried gun is my Glock. But I own only one Glock and have doubles of other brands.
i am a springfield armory loyalist. i have 2 xd's and the Mc Operator, they have all been great and they run like champs. I did have an issue at one time with one of my xd's, not a problem i called sa and they squared me away in a giid amount of time and did more that i though they would. sa makes great reliable, accurate weapons, and they back thier products up for life.
CZ. The people at CZ-USA rock, the product is perfect for me, and are the most reliable, accurate and dependable firearms I have owned yet.
My wife seems to share my sentiments...
Colt, and to a lesser degree S&W. I grew up during the 50's and 60's. Read all the gun magazines of the day. These where the top brands and the top quality. Colt for auto pistols and Smith for revolvers.
I have tried numerous brands over the years, but nothing has ever felt as right as these two. They are what I have confidence in, so they are what I carry and keep.
I'm not "brand loyal" per se, I just stick to what works for me.
That used to be Sigs, but most of those have since been replaced by CZ's. While I have no qualms with CZ as a company, that's certainly not the reason I buy their pistols. I just shoot them well, and at the moment they are the best I've found for my needs. If something better comes along, I'll likely switch.
I choose my weapons first because I have good results with practical accuracy and reliability. If those are good, then fit, finish, and customer support come into play. I am not a "fanboy" for any brand, but will be enthusiastic about something that works well in my hands, and is reliable, so that will guide subsequent purchases, but each individual weapon must prove itself.
For me it was HK. I despise their politics and picking and choosing which guns we 'should' have from them my USP has digested thousands and thousands and thousands of rounds and its never jammed, FTF or anything
I ended up buying the New HK45 and though its had far fewer rounds through it its benn 100% too
I'm very loyal to the Springfield brand because of out of 5 Springfield handguns I own or have owned, I have never once needed to test their customer service skills
I am not loyal to any particular brand. I buy guns that feel good in my hand and are chambered for what I consider adequate handgun calibers (10mm and 45acp). After buying one I wring it out with hundreds of rounds of various ammo from factory to handloads. If it is flawless I keep it. If not, I send it in ONCE to the mfg. and if that doesn't do it I sell the failure and move on. I've had very good luck with Springfield Armory, but then I've had very good luck with Taurus also. Go figure!
CZ, great people in Europe and Kansas City, fantastic products and customer service.
Besides, who else would name a gun because I told them to.
They wanted my input, and a few months later,.I was very surprised to see that they used my suggestion.
Like the Armoreds they are like my extended family.
I might own and experiment with other brands on the market, but CZ remains my favorite company.
