Love mine. Only 50 rds of American Eagle and 50 rds Blazer Brass - but not one malfunction. Filed down the peening, but if Ruger offers to fix it free of charge, I will think about sending it in.
Now I need to start trying SD ammo...
To each their own I guess. Personally, I would never carry a gun with a manual safety...if needed I would prefer to just pull the trigger, a safety would be one more thing to worry about in an already stressful situation.
The XD with a safety does seem pointless, Springfield is probably...
I am waiting on reviews also, I had always been considering the kel-tec - but if the lcp is reliable, it will be my next purchase. I hoping a flood of range reviews come in the next couple months...by the way, I don't think the lcp has a slide stop, just a slide release - may be wrong though.
What is the blue strip? A loaded chamber indicator? Actually doesn't look to bad overall. Hope the peening isn't serious, was this of major concern to Kel-Tec owners? Was considering a Kel-Tec, but if the ruger is reliable I will pick one up.

I understand Winchester has their own policy concerning the sale of Ranger ammunition: it is only sold to military and law enforcement, but there are no laws restricting it for civilian use, so there is nothing wrong with buying, selling or owning it.
What I am wondering is this: would it...
I've noticed cz-82's are now C+R eligible, running for about $200. Anyone have any experiences with these?

NEW ORLEANS - Sixty-four-year-old Vivian Westerman rode out Hurricane Katrina in her 19th-century house. So terrible...
The registration wasn't too big of a deal, now my carry piece is taken care of - no more worries there. But, a younger guy down a couple booths from me was registering a gun he obviously knew nothing about (rent payment from roommate), anyway, sometime later an officer came in and cuffed him...
