Took my new P365 MS out for its first test run, and thought I would present my first impressions.
I know there are a lot of these threads out there already, and I apologize if I am being redundant, but I did not want to pollute someone else's thread.
Background: I am a pretty big SIG guy, and...
Lone Wolf is now making 3rd party SS extractors for the P320. Looks pretty cool. I just ordered a pair.
Has anyone seen or used any of these yet?

...of the tube came out, and 100 primers went flying everywhere! UGH!
I managed to find all but 6. Dang.
But this morning, as I reached my hand into the pocket of my pants, there at the bottom of my pocket were 2 more live primers! HAHA! Now *THAT'S* a primer pocket!!!
Only 4 more to...
OK, I am not sure about the rest of you, but there never seems to be enough time in the week to get everything done that I need (or want) to accomplish. Between family and work, I have to eek out those extra minutes where I can to shoot, reload and compete.
So I am always looking for ways to...
Heard some guys talking about this at a recent match I attended. They raved and told me I *had* to try it.
Did some searching and watched a bunch of videos. I have never been one to buy into gimmicky techniques like this, but it does look interesting.
They have a new product coming out in May...
I created some test loads using Sport Pistol and 9mm RMR bullets and tested them today, specifically, the RMR 124 gr JHP (MPR) bullets and RMR 147 FP (Match Winners).
I loaded the 124 gr. JHP to a COAL of 1.08", and the 147 gr. FP to 1.10".
All rounds were shot out my SIG P320 X5 Pistol with a...
It looks like I have a buyer for my beloved STI 2011 Limited gun. :( I put it up for sale around the first of the year, but didn't push too hard to sell it as I have such mixed feelings about letting such an awesome gun go. But... I am definitely moving towards the Carry Optics division in both...
I started tracking lot numbers on both primers and powder about a year ago by adding columns into my load data spreadsheet. I figure if there is ever a problem, it is a good way to track issues and provide feedback to manufacturers.
My main question however is about working up a new load every...
...wanted to try them for awhile just to see what the fuss is all about.
They are on sale at MidwayUSA for $11.69 for a box of 50 (.23 per round). *Way* too pricey for my blood for anything permanent, but I keep putting off trying them due to the price. I finally ordered a few boxes just to try...
I bought a set of Pachmayr grips for my S&W 686, and they came with 4 small sticky-backed lead weights, but no instructions or reference to what or how to use them.
I am guessing counter-weights, but can any one offer advice or instructions on how to use them correctly?
Thanks.
I have read a few threads where folks talk about the thumb safety on the P365 negatively, yet as I consider the P365 as my new EDC, I think I want one with the safety.
I have been carrying the SIG P938 for about 4 years every day with a safety, a 1911 commander before that, and most of my guns...
I thought I remembered reading a thread on these recently, but my THR Search-Foo has let me down and I can't find it any more.
I just ordered some of the RMR 147 gr. FMJ Match Winners to try out. Any links to that other thread that I can't find, or any other comments on these bullets...
I didn't load any 9mm at all in 2018 as I was loading mostly .40 S&W to feed my USPSA competition gun (over 16K rounds of .40 in 2018).
This year, I am looking to move to a different division and will be shooting 9mm again.
I have loaded 6,000 rounds in the last few weeks, and I forgot how...
Has anyone tried the Hunters HD Gold shooting glasses? These are now the "official" safety glasses of USPSA.
I talked with the owner Brian, and they seem pretty on top of things and this market. The lenses have some pretty features, and auto change their tint qualities depending on the lighting...
Has anyone seen this new gun from Walther??? Similar to the polymer-framed version but with a steel frame.
https://www.waltherarms.com/handguns/q5-match-steel-frame/#
Jake Martens just reviewed this for the USPSA Front Sight Magazine, and she looks like a beauty.
I just bought a SIG P320...
OK, so I know this a boring purchase for most of you revolver guys, but I have been a semi-auto shooter for many years, and have always wanted a revolver of my own. Even if this is a yawner to you guys, I am pretty excited!
My buddy has a 686 with a 6" barrel that I love to shoot, so I decided...
I did not see this posted anywhere on here, so I thought I would start a new thread.
Looks like Franford Arsenal has created a press that looks surprisingly "similar" to the Forster Co-Ax. Obviously different, but you have to take a second look when you first see it.
From the picture, it looks...
As the political winds change, concerns arise about our ability to get ammo and/or reloading components in the future.
Buried in a couple of other threads, I asked the question about "how much is enough" to stock up on now that the prices are low and availability seems good. Since that question...
Cleaned 4 of my handguns today. Took forever.
Next up, a deep, deep cleaning of my competition gun and my carry gun. This involves almost a complete tear-down. I do this once a year for both guns, then test them thoroughly, and then do another standard cleaning when I am done with the testing...
...handloads for the 9mm.
This was sort of one of these impulse buys that I am not sure I will shoot a lot, but once I saw it offered for sale, I almost *had* to buy it!!!
My wife does like shooting my .22 better than any of my "big guns" however, so I am sure she will get a kick out of it.
