Use of "Seated Marine" position: your experience

Do you mean somehting like this? I don't shoot highpower or anything but I've tried it. If you have a belly, it can hinder the effectiveness of this position, at least it does for me. :P

    Action Shooting question

Just to note, the SR9c uses 10rd mags(or the larger 17s, if you want), as does the Glock G26(the G27 in .40 trails just behind at 9rds). So while some of the others are at a disadvantage in capacity, some aren't at all since IDPA limits you to 10rds per mag regardless of how many they can hold.

    Rattling Magazine 0_o

I was wondering the same thing, my 16rd mags for my CZ-75b rattle when fully loaded, but not when loaded with 15rds or less.

Is the M&P conquering the IDPA?

Why have XDs not been doing well, or been as popular?

    CZ Adjustable Sear in BETA

If I were able to shoot more often I'd jump on this but I wouldn't be a useful beta tester at this time. I do wish to keep an eye out though for this and other things you may have in development.

Coming Soon, The Spike's Tactical Shooting Team

Very neat. I dunno if it's different in person but it always looks like I'd have a tough time keeping track of what I'm supposed to be doing each stage.

    Who's Competition Shooting with a CZ 75?

Well, I just recently got a CZ 75B, and I'd like to use it in competition sometime, but haven't done so. Just throwing this in here to flag the thread so I can follow it easier. :)

Who uses 147gr JHP 9mm as a self defense round?

I have the 124gr TAP in my new(to me) CZ 75. Shot well today, has a good rep so far as I know, and best of all, it was available to purchase when I went shopping for JHP ammo. I'd like to try some 147gr ammo though, see how it shoots for me.

If it can do this to steel what would it do to a BG?

A Beretta 92 series is worth a try if you can, for sure. Pretty easy on the hands, and sized fine for smaller hands a swell.(my hands are on the small side, and the M9 I shot in the army and 92 I've fired since felt fine). Also, if you shop around or online used ones are readily available...

Why has LE drifted away from 9MM?

I try to keep in mind every time this comes up, there's always plenty of footage of the 9mm(or whatever) failing, and to go with that is the assumption that the next step up or two would have succeeded. No evidence, but the assumption is always there. I'm not saying there's no point to...

22 LR pistol you don't like?

I used to have a Beretta Neos. They're cheaper than the Rugers and Brownings still I believe, but they're not junk by any means. The grip angle and safety are the biggest hurdles, they just don't work well for everybody, that's why I don't have mine any longer. Otherwise I found it to be an...

The best part about reading the article linked to was the reference to Bloaty the Pizza Hog. Invader Zim FTW!

What size would a person have to be to comfortably handle a rifle like an AR?

I'll concur with many of the others. Being around 5'8" myself with smaller hands, I handled my M16-A2 in the Army just fine. The only thing there was the fixed A2 stock, which I usually had to contort a bit(usually being more sideways then normal and tucking the stock underneath my LBE/LBV) to...

Has anyone seen this stock kit for sale?

If I were to guess, it's custom made by the same person made that case, might even be the seller.

    223 bolt gun?

Tikka offers both 1:12 and 1:8 twist for .223, at least in the Hunter and Varmint models.

    I dont understand

I actually liked the smoothbore version that was just a stretched out Judge, but not adding in a lever action. Of course, they do have a normal lever action .410 on the way as well, and that I'd like to have.
