Would any of you feel comfortable carrying cocked and locked 1911 just tucked in waistband, no holster? My concern would be thumb safety coming off. I know there's still the grip safe, sometimes I don't like fiddling with a holster.

I don't recommend the Plaxcio Burris method, though.
Just tryin' to blend, bruthra.A gun routinely carried holsterless in the belt is the mark of the amateur or the would-be gangsta.
It's been observed that badguys seldom use holsters nowadays.
Serious CCW's use a good holster mounted on a good belt, regardless of what gun.

I was joking. Ninety-five percent of the time I use an IWB.If you're doing it right, they'll never see your holster.....
