Not too crazy about this Florida Senate bill.

It creates more "target rich environments" for terrorists, crazy people and criminals.

Per Florida Statute 790.06 (12) all athletic venues from school to professional are already OL..

9. Any school, college, or professional athletic event not related to firearms;

Thanks for the post. I wish for a Federal law to require all school employees, even the janitor to carry. If we can trust the care of our children to them we should have them protect them while in their care. I saw a piece somewhere on the list to allow them to carry. Thanks again for your work in posting this.

New York's S00353 reads as if the author wants all public agencies in that state to divest themselves of firearms. That would be interesting.

Still doesn't justify theaters however.

Why not convenience stores or bowling alleys?

FWIW the amendment to the FSS was initiated by this guy.

Just imagine if all that nervous congressional energy, were directed toward a useful purpose...assuming there is one.

Thanks for the update.

Anybody know if Rob Bishop (UT) plans to reintroduce his "Lawful Purpose & Self Defense Act" (HR2710, 2015), which permanently replaces "sporting purposes" with (effectively) "all lawful/recreational purposes" in all of our gun laws & regulation? It's about as big a deal as the HPA, in reality much more important as far as the average gun owner is concerned.

Sadly, he won't take emails from people outside his district, so...
