2021-2022 Newly Proposed Firearm Legislation

Status
Not open for further replies.
So, South Carolina is the first state to fire a 'shot across the bow' at federal firearm laws. S0369 was signed by the governor yesterday.

The bill, which goes into effect October 1, 2021 states that all firearms and ammunition manufactured in the state (whether commercially of personally) that does not leave the state is NOT subject to federal law.

Many more state have bills like this working through the legislatures, if your state has one contact your reps and tell them to pass it!

That's a long enough list to give people plenty to worry about. But there seems to be no benefit actually 'stewing' over the details. Avoiding 'stewing' does not imply indifference.

Much of it -- for the Anti-Second Amendment politicians -- now is a useful distraction from their Crisis on the Border. Is it not?
They need as much distraction as possible Away from "The Big Guy" . Steamed Pork Dim Sum with your hot tea, anyone?
