HB6024 would require anyone wanting to buy a firearm to first secure either a state or federal license to buy a firearm. It would also create a federal database of all firearms eliminating the current requirement that ATF destroy records after a certain period of time. The bill would also institute a federal universal background check' law

HB6075 would add all sorts of requirements and penalties to gun dealers that don't secure their firearms or firearms they sell are used in a crime

Pa. Liability insurance ?it's all about money. gun ownership is a right NOT a privilege like driving .It may be wise move to purchase, but on a voluntary basis. not made into law.

I doubt that will go very far. There is a reason the Brady Act only applies to dealers and states have their own laws regarding transfers between non dealers. Something to do with the Commerce Clause of the Constitution.

HB6278 would take away the 2nd amendment rights of animal abusers. While we detest people that abuse animals we don't feel this is the right way to punish them.

HR978 is a resolution urging states to repeal their stand your ground laws

SB2486 would repeal the gun free zones act of 1990

SB3135 would prohibit the federal government from funding any state run database of gun owners

SB3211 would increase penalties for gun dealers that break certain rules but it would also require them to keep firearms locked up, would make it illegal to sell armor piercing ammunition and would require a physical inventory if 10 or more 'crime guns' are traced back to the dealer.

HB5939 would ban guns that aren't detectable by metal detectors, something that is already illegal under federal law

HR1197 is a resolution condemning the counties that have declared themselves 'firearm sanctuary counties'

NJ

ACR185 urges congress to pass the 'Lawful Transportation of Firearms Act' that is currently in the house

S2846 would exempt off duty law enforcement from the 'high' capacity magazine ban

NY

A11287 would create a 10 day waiting period for firearm sales

S09145 is another 'ghost gun' bill

HB2597 is another 'feel good' bill requiring anyone that has firearms and lives with someone that is prohibited to keep them locked up. What they don't tell you is people that live with prohibited persons can not keep their firearms in the home under current law.

HB2598 would require all firearms to be locked up when not in use

HB2599 would require all gun owners to report any stolen firearm within 24 hours of discovering the loss but it goes further by making the person civilly liable for damages if the stolen firearm is used in a crime

HB6624 would allow firearm dealers to sell handguns to visiting non-residents provided the sale would be legal in the state the non-resident lives in

HB6629 is another extortion bill offering money to states to take away firearms from anyone convicted of abuse or under a PFA

HB6649 would outlaw all 3D printed firearms and plans and any firearm receiver (no matter what stage of being finished) that doesn't have a serial number

HB6654 would make it illegal to transfer a firearm at a gun show by anyone except a licensed dealer

SB3300 would basically outlaw 80% receivers and any other 'untraceable' firearm part

SB3304 would make it illegal to distribute plans for 3D printable firearms

That would make any block of metal (and potentially plastic, wood?, resin & fiberglass/carbon-fiber? ) that is larger than the smallest firearms receiver/frame illegal. Sounds like a winner to me. o_O And people wonder why having congresscritters who know nothing about guns make gun laws bothers most of us. The worst part is that many of them are actively ignorant about guns. They're proud of the fact that they're clueless, although they would probably describe it differently.
