I'm trading in my cz75 and getting a new 9mm or 2...right now ruger sr9 is my first choice..want to get 2 one done in pink hardware for my gf...any other suggestions in the 400 dollar price range...and no I do not want a freaking glock

I own an SR9 & I am very pleased with it . XD9 is in that price range & is a very nice pistol . Having said that ; I am not sure why you would want to get rid of the CZ ? Also a very nice pistol.................

You may want to keep that CZ75. If nothing else, they are great range pistols. I own both an SR9 and an SR9c, and they make great concealment pistols. I have had exactly zero problems with either one of the Rugers.:)

I have been considering upgrading to a cz 75 sp-01..and getting a cheapy for my gf since she don't shoot a whole lot..cz is a great gun nothing bad to say about it..but I'm into tactical weapons and that is not a cz 75 b...it is the sp-01..mostly looking for a gun to complement my ar 15 and tactical 12...I will prolly get my gf a 22 ..she loved the old 22 I use to have and she loves the sign mosquito in pink...problem is finding another one

The P07 is about the latest in tactical CZ's. I just picked one up. I saw a picture of pink one somewhere but I don't think they come like that, and OD is available now tho. New ones should be around the $400-450 range (I would get a new one to avoid some of the early issues) CZ is supposed to be coming out with a fullsize version this year called the p09.

I really love both my SR9C and 75B. Wouldn't want to part with either. For $400 can't beat the Ruger. A joy to carry and shoot at the range. I'm always amazed how accurate and how much I like the trigger for such an inexpensive handgun.

I just recently bought a beretta 92g used and in very good condition for 380.00 and love it. They seem to sell in the 400 range on GB. I have had the cz a kahr pm9 and cw9 and a sw 908. the beretta is by far the smoothest and nicest 9mm I have owned. I cant think of a better complement to the ar15. The beretta is certainly not a cc gun but if you want well balanced and easy to hold and shoot its worth a look. Just my 2cents.

What exactly is the definition of a tactical gun? I once had an LGS guy tell me I made a huge tactical mistake by trading my G17 for my 75B. Didn't really care because I like the CZ better.

Ruger LC9, 7+1 capacity, slim but ergonomically fit, surprisingly soft shooting, great sights, decent, though long but smooth, trigger, same controls as the SR9, just in a smaller package. I got one for myself as a nice summer-shorts carry in the humid coastal area I live it, but my wife liked it so much, she "appropriated" it. At least she carries, guess I can' complain.

@ fmf..im a huge dude and it is a small gun,,looking for full size weapon although i have shot the lc9 ther sr9 and sr9c..i like the full size one the best(sr9) but all handled well and i didnt mind shooting any of them...

@ cowbell i classify tactical as a full size combat style weapon with picatinny rail and ih capacity mags(15+) and of coarse its gotta be black

@big nugget thats awesome...as much as i like the CZb i think i would rather have the sp-01 version...in fact its what i wanted as my first 9mm but i couldnt wait and settled for the 75B...with hogue grips it is a nice fit for my mammoth hands..this time around i think i will just fork out the extra cash cut my loses and get the sp-01 or p07

@sigarms..sig makes a fantastic weapon but i dont really know why i just dont like the looks of them...which is y i wont buy a glock...sorry glock fans but not only is it ugly its not very ergonomic either but still a fantastically durable weapon

The new FNS looks promising. I don't know on prices, or availability, but it is just a striker fired version of the FNX, which is also a good choice, though probably outside you budget unless you find a great deal. Ruger P95 is another incredibally under-rated pistol. If I ever decide to get a "truck" gun, one that has little chance of being pressed into CCW, then I would strongly consider that. Built RUGER tough, hand filling, ergonomic, accurate and very reasonably priced. I saw some on Buds for $299 NIB. Don't know if it comes in pink though ?

If you are a big guy, you defintiley want the SP-01 over the P-07. The P-07 is a relatively small gun.

When I went looking for a compact 9mm. I checked out the SR9c and the CZ P-01. I liked them both equally so I bought the SR9c and then went back a few weeks later and picked up the P-01. I would definitely have a hard time deciding which one to keep and which one to sell.

Choosing a gun based on its looks is like betting on a fight based on how pretty a boxer is.

Get the XD

I purchased and carry an XD-9 daily in enforcement work and I love it. Keep in mind that it does come with an extra mag, holster and mag holder. While I carry a duty belt and none of those items fit on it for the average person those items in the case are more than good enough. The key to a tactical weapon today is to be able to have it ready to go without fumbling around with a safety. That might make some people uneasy and if you are one of them keep in mind that the XD does have a grip safety like a 1911.I have to admit that I was never a big Ruger fan I owned several and they seem to function flawlessly, however they're just not for me.

i dont just buy on looks...thats why i like cz and ruger..great style..ergonomic and will stand up to anything i do with it and then some...im not like most gun owners who will buy a overpriced glock because the military uses it...ther are so many guns out there that are just as good as glocks for much less...if glock would build a gun that has some ergonomics and a little style i would own one

I bought my SR9c because it was exactly what I wanted/needed (and it's been flawless). Just so happens it was 100 bucks cheaper than the other two I was considering.
