Best shoot yet with the Uberti 1851

Uberti usually gets their wedge keeper screw located better than Pietta, who often locate it so high that it does nothing. Some I have had to run the screw in to locate the bottom side then make it a little flat there to allow the wedge to move.
 
44 Dave. Thank you. This Uberti Navy was made in 1963. Should that matter? I admit that I didnt try hard to screw it in. It just seemed to be hard to negotiate the hole with the wedge in place? The angle it needs to travel and the size of the screw head made it look impossible to screw it in. I appreciate your reply. Tim

Run the screw in with the wedge out of the way.The trigger/ bolt screw is the same, You could check to see if the head is any smaller.

Dave. Haven’t checked the wedge screw yet but hope to this afternoon. I have so much to learn LOL thanks Tim
