my brother has a bowfishing boat for sale, and 3 days ago a guy offered him 2 ar's in partial trade. one was a braced pistol. then tonight a saw a braced ar pistol for sale on a local forum. Those are currently unregistered sbr's right now correct? I understand there are court cases in the works, and the frames rule being tossed seems to hold promise for braces, but as it stands tonight, there are millions of super illegal SBR's out there yes?

Until you either dispossess yourself of the brace, or screw on a 16” barrel. Easy enough to have Jimbo take the brace off and hand it to someone who doesn't have a <16" pistol that it'll fit.

It seems a reasonable way to own several more ARs instead of a hole in the water you have to pour money into.

Your profile states you live in Texas. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't a 5th Circuit judge issued an injunction that includes the state of Texas thus braced pistols are still legal there?
