Brady campaign rates the states

This is why Texas needs to introduce and pass the Open Carry Act

I'm really upset that Texas is not red.

Just when I thought the Brady's couldn't be any more offensive, they rate the great state of NH at number 23?!?!?!?

We should be number 48, only being beaten by Vermont and Alaska, who would tie at 49.

I was born and raised in NH.

I moved to New Mexico a year and a half ago.
I'll tell you right now that VT and NH are no where near as gun friendly as places like AZ, NM, CO.

No offense, but have you open carried down Main st. in Concord, NH and NOT got a handful of creepy looks and possibly a police visit?
It's more than just the laws, it's also perception and acceptence, and you will get a whole lot of acceptence 'round here.

And even if it was all about the laws, NH has wierd OC restrictions, VT has class III NFA item restrictions...Nah, they got miles to go. :)

New mexico - wrong

They're wrong on New Mexico.

They gave us 2 points for "Deadly Force not allowed to be first resort in public."

This is patently false.

Hopefully they're wrong about our rank also. Much higher than it should be at $36.

It would be interesting to plot cities that have stricter gun control laws than the states and their violent crime rates vs. those cities with leanient gun laws and their violent crime rates.
