Dream guns that don't exist...

2x on the Mauser C96. Or a modernized version.

I'd like to see a modern handgun (and when I say modern, I mean with modern safety devices, polymer, double stack mags) in 7.62 Tok.

• A Beretta steel-framed single-stack compact 9mm, designed to fit, look, feel, and function like the 85FS Cheetah.

• A reliable .22LR auto-loader with a magazine capacity over 10.

• A Springfield Armory EMP in 9mm without the ambi safety, with flush-fitting mags, and a rounded off mainspring housing. I suppose a good gunsmith could actually make this gun pretty easily.

A Mateba autorevolver in 9mm.

Why 9mm when you get the original in 357 mag? (or 44 or 454)

Original configuration M1908 Colt .380 'Barrel Bushing' Model, only in 9mm Luger...

A modern single action fullsize auto. with an out of the box honest to goodness decent trigger. I mean a 1911 fits the bill, but surely we can design something that doesn't have as many parts, need so much "tuning" and was designed in the last 100 years. Surely handgun design didn't peak with JMB. I like the poster who mentioned a single action glock.

Hey...it could happen...

How about a 357SIG carbine/sub gun with 100rnd clyndical drum magazine and a electronic sear/trigger system paired up with an Roller-bolt style blowback bolt system for reliability.

Shove in a H&K G11 style moving barrel recoil system to tame a the hotter 357SIG in 5rnd bursts. Add a Full auto selector for those squadron support role moments.

Trim it out with integral red dot/w remaining ammo display and picatinny rails galore. Throw in a sturdy out of sight(almost hidden) extendable buttstock. Make it 8lbs or less loaded.

And uhh...make it shiny. :D

I'll have one of those.

Any HK(other than the P7, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while) that lives up to all the fanboy hype?

MOdernized ,hi capacity pistol in 7.62x25;think a fusion of the Glock 34 with a Yugo Tokarev...modern repro C96,built STRONG;with options like .45,.400 Cor Con,9x25,7.62x25,.357 Sig....
A modern top break revolver in .357. Or a new run of that old S&W 9mm MOdel 10 they made for the Israelis a long time ago.
