Can’t pick just one:
Original type German mastershop SIG X5 SAO.
Swiss P49 in unissued condition with 20 mags
Top of the line Ed Brown 1911, high polish blue, engraved.
Beretta 93R
Ruger/AWC Amphibian
Original GI issue M1911 and M1911A1
Old S&W Model 41
One of the 6 (or however many) .45 ACP Lugers ;)
The .50 AE Desert Eagle that Harvey Weinstein used to shoot John Wilkes Booth

Have two of em.

S&W 5946 because I fired someone's DAO smith at the start of 3rd gen era, got my own special ordered (and very nice) and stuck wood stocks on that I customized myself. My primary carry and range gun for 15 years. Now is the era of RDS and WML so it's retired, comes out to play only about annually.

Star PD. Thought that was never gonna happen as so old, most were shot to hell but in the last year found one at the LGS just sitting there, almost like new. Nickel finish, so not me but sorta perfect for a 70s overpowered gun. Not obviously shot much, and not cared for so new springs, new buffer, and about half a dozen oilings of the stocks and it's lovely. Mostly to look at. It's a handful.

Want a P7 but that's never gonna happen now. I really wish I'd grabbed up a PSP when they were $500 but it didn't work out, and man have prices gone through the roof.

A few others I might get if they wandered through like the Llama 87 but they barely or do not exist in the US so not even really on the list.

I picked mine up with the EDC X9. I'm adding the X9S to the list, as well as the Dan Wesson DWX compact.

Yeah, that X9S interests me as well, but I feel I'd end up not shooting it enough, and for a backup CCW/Safe queen I'd probably be better served with a second X9

The DWX still interests me, but I've had issues with hand fit on compact frame CZs due to the beavertail location and shape, so I suspect it will be much the same, though if the trigger is good enough I could find a way to adapt.

"Dream autoloader" brings up a laundry list of nice pistols. That Bren Ten above is near the top of my list, for its collectability if for no other reason. Others on my list would be a wartime BHP when the factory was under occupation, as a collectable. A modern BHP would be nice to have as a shooter. I'd also like a Walther P38, again as a collectable.

My "realized dreams" autoloaders are three that I own; one as a collectable and two as shooters. The collectable is a blued Colt 1903 Hammerless in .32ACP. My shooters are a Springfield 1911A1 in .45ACP, and a Ruger SR1911 in 10mm. I occasionally shoot the Colt, but never carry it.

Can we (namely *I*) get a picture of that Pocket Hammerless side by side with a Gov't 1911 ?

I'm a fan of .45 ACP and especially single action type semiautos in .45 ACP. For years I lusted after a S&W 745 IPSC when they came on the market in 1986. They had a very short run, and I feared I'd not find one even used, so I bought a 645 DA semiauto to fill my urge. Then a few years later I was at a gun show looking and stumbled upon a guy selling a 745 LNIB. He said he'd fired it some, but it didn't show much. I traded him my 645 and a small amount of cash to buy the 745.
It was my .45 for Bullseye 2400 matches for years until I stopped competing. Then became my carry gun for more years. I finally stopped carrying it when I got a smaller carry gun that was easier to conceal. But I still shoot it a lot, and it's extremely accurate.

The SVI’s are the slickest ones I have, I can’t say that I have any dream ones but one I would get, if there were any transferable ones, would be a select fire glock 17C. Fun as HE double hockey sticks.

G36 sized 10mm with a 5" barrel and magazines without the spot to rest your precious princess pinky finger.

Yeah, boring. But the world of bottom feeders is boring.

Now that I’ve thought about it... I’ll go retro; maybe a nice High Standard target model with the weights, a S&W 41 .22 or a S&W 52 .38 Spl Wadcutter...

Stay safe.

So far as I know, the 17C is just a 17 with a compensator, still semiauto only. The G18 was purpose built from the start as a full auto pistol. If the guy in the vid is shooting a 17C, it's been modified.

Yep, and you need the proper FFL and SOT to possess one as there are zero that are transferable to us normal folk.

As it stands now I have to invite one of my FFL/SOT buddies to come play when I want to use them.

The select fire 34 with stock is pretty fun too but the 17c above is my favorite between the two.
