ever bought something for a guns you dont own yet?

RIght now I'm thinking of getting some 32 round 9mm mags for a long planned SBR build. If I can find them at a reasonable price.

I bought dies, brass, and bullets for a .44 Mag before I received the gun. I had loaded ammo before I received the gun.

Oh yeah... Way too often.

Let's see:

M1A stock without owning a carbine.
25 round "air service" magazine before owning an -O3.
Johnson light machine gun mag before buying a Johnson.
Original "waffle" mags before getting an original AR-10.

The list would go on for ever. With me it seems often to be a matter of... "well, I got the garage, maybe I oughta buy a car to put in it."

Oh yeah. I bought 4 Glock 19 mags today for a pistol I don't own yet.

I bought a couple of vertical grips without having a rail system to attach them. Still have the grips, still don't have the rails to attach them. Hoping to change that soon with my Christmas bonus from work. And some ammo if I can still find it for a halfway decent price. And maybe a couple more 30 round AR mags.
