There was a thread dealing with the Savage Weather Warrior (model 16) rifles. Toward the end of the thread there seemed to be some indication that the issue where the front scope mount goes being lower than the rear, thus causing scope binding or damage. IT seemed to be specifically related to short action rifles.
Has anyone followed through on this? I am considering buying a WW 308 soon, but I have to know if this has been corrected. No place stocks short action WWs around here to inspect.
