Nice but come on.. how about some crest and year shots... A luger is one of those guns that one photo is not enough...View attachment 890444
Finally snapped a decent pic of my "beauty queen."
I tried, but the camera on my tablet is pretty low res, the pics of the markings were illegible. In any event, its a 1918 DWM Artillery Model which underwent the police rework at Erfurt in 1920, losing its long barrel in the process and gaining the sideplate safety spring, (no mag safety, though.)Nice but come on.. how about some crest and year shots... Wow sounds nice.. so it is a 1920 double date as well...??? are there police markings on it??I tried, but the camera on my tablet is pretty low res, the pics of the markings were illegible. Then someone did a really nice hot blue and polish job on it at some point. If only Lugers could tell stories, each could probably fill a book!
Yup, double dated. No police markings, per se, but the sideplate safety spring was a special police modification, so its a safe assumption.Wow sounds nice.. so it is a 1920 double date as well...??? are there police markings on it??
