How many of you regularly carry a pistol?

David, I only carry when I'm dressed. Well, or when in a bathrobe.

I used to carry in a pocket, though now I've made the move to my strong-side hip, just behind it. You'll hear many refer to where they wear it comparing it to a clock. Just behind my right hip is about 3:30 o'clock. I made the decision and the commitment with clothing to dress in such a way that I can almost always carry a gun on my hip. In the rare occasions when I can't do that, I carry in right front pocket. I carry GLOCKs or Kel-tecs or S&W revolver or Ruger revolver or Taurus or Makarov or Kahr.

Been carrying at least 10 years, but made the move to 40's and 45's after 9/11. Occasionally, I'll carry a 9mm or .38 or smaller, but usually it's the big guys.

The sentiment you are seeing over and over here is that you just don't get to choose the time and place that a bad guy is gonna try to hurt you.

How many of you carry more than one weapon 24/7? I carry a Glock 26 and a Keltec p3AT all the time.

I carry whenever I am away from home. When I'm home pistol usually sits on a table next to where I am. But is never more than 7-8 steps away.

I just carry one. Either a 1911 or Glock 33. I do carry a couple blades on me as well though.

Almost everyday since I received my CPL, 5906 OWB, murse (posted pictures of it here on the forums) or inside of coat. PT111 IWB, IWB behind hip or inside of coat. Also keep it in my gym bag. I wear a Carhartt that has great pockets for my holsters.

Though I do not have it on myself at work, I have to follow company policy, as soon as I'm off company property I'm carrying, also do not carry where prohibited by law.

Always...The only thing that varies is what weapon for the dress of the day. Like alot of the folks here, what weapon goes with the outfit. Kind of like picking out you're shoes to put on. Don't want to step on a nail!

Can't carry during the day (workdays anyway), work in DC in a secured fed building :barf:

The rest of the time.. most likely. It's like others say, after a while it's "wallet, keys, cell phone, gun. Okay, ready to go".

Carry everywhere it's legal and some places it ain't. I've had my permit for
20+ years.

I carry when I legally can. If I cant, I normally have one in the car anyway. If I cant have it in the car (like when taking someone to school), I'm unarmed. That's a rare occasion though.

Isn't it tricky to sleep with a gun on you?
Work graveyard shift, nine or ten hours a night, 6 nights a week, and going to sleep isnt a problem, most of the time. I've feel alseep many times fully clothed and armed on an uncomfortable couch. Well, its actually pretty comfortable, unless you sleep on it.

Finding time to sleep can be tough though...

Hmm...I "carry" daily, just not always on my person. As in most days I take my CCW from the nightstand, place it in the (unlocked) car safe, go to work, lock the safe, leave work, unlock the safe, go home, and then either put on the gun or secure it in the bedroom.

When I actually CARRY carry, it's usually either a G19 in a Rocketman Kydex IWB rig or a Kel-Tec P3AT in a Destantis Nemesis pocket holster.
