I Love This Girl (Pt 2)

That is the exact one I waffled on and lost. It was VERY slightly used at a reputable gun store I did a lot of business with for $600. I kept saying, but it's 9mm, my friend kept saying "so"? STUPID, STUPID. My other great regret was the Bushmaster with case and extra mags I hesitated on and lost for $600. STUPID, STUPID. But I was early 20s and I learned from those. You know what they say about opportunity knocking? I still don't have an AR... YET

This thread makes me sad

Rapist/thief/mugger/assorted BG here: I hate this thread! Women shouldn't be able to defend themselves! Hooray for the Brady bunch! Pepper spray is all a woman will ever need! I don't like it when good guys can actually defend themselves:fire::banghead::cuss::(:uhoh:
/evil :p

This thread is awesome...of my 4 best friends, one is for CC (but thinks if *no one* had guns things might be better - smart enough to realize that it's impossible though). Other friend - she's from Romania & thinks all guns are evil (one of ~100+ things we disagree on;)) Another friend owns a shotgun and shoots mice with it (he's...special...don't ask...). My other friend might be ok with guns & stuff - haven't asked her.

After I get my shotgun, I'm hoping to take my Romanian friend shooting this summer or next if/when she comes to CT.

To the guy who had the gf with the MP5 - how do I get that? I love MP5s

This thread is fantastic! You guys are sure bringing your kids up right. This is good clean family fun. Great lifetime hobby. Kudo's to all of you.

I think you might be referring to my post. That's the wifey and I had to convince her that full-auto isn't as bad as she has been led to believe (recoil I mean). It's not mine, I wish it were but I don't have $15 - $20,000 to spend on one gun. When we were in Las Vegas, we went to a local gunshop where you can rent guns and pay per magazine to shoot. Total was $100. for 5 mags/32 rounds each all inclusive and you could interchange any gun at this place. I shot the Tommy and MP5, she just shot the MP5. I recommend it highly if you can't afford to own them, which most people can't.

The perfectly normal Christmas picture of a supremely average wife/mother and daughter--in a perfect world :)

Thain has been known to refer to this one as "tactical toddler"
Please pardon the messy carpet--we have a large black dog.

A purely gratuitous additional pic.

This post has been edited a bit; I originally alluded to my notable lack of hotness. I wasn't really trying to run myself down, but rather to point out that like lots of guys who take pics of themselves with their guns, the point isn't that a woman be hot or not, but that we're just folks who like guns. Even when we're women. Not enough pics floating around of average looking women of all ages with their guns. This thread is pretty good though, hence my contributions.

No range pics though--the whole need for for on parent to stay with her means our trips our solo, so no cameraman.

Well, here I am, living proof that not all women with guns are hot

Not trying to sound bad or off color, but aren't you being a little hard on yourself?

You are correct though, virtually all toddlers are cute. Except when they are coloring on the walls with permant marker, mine found ours, it wasn't pretty then.

Friendly Reminder

Posts that incline toward dragging this thread into the ditch are likely to disappear.

Carry on.

Here is a pic of my daughter. She's a little too young for guns still (well at least according to her mother), I'm not in the country right now anyway.

Delta9, im about to go into a realm that i usually attempt to stay out of. that would be the "real me".

The girl im with currently yes is beautiful, but the girl i was with before her was according to my friends, EXTREMELY ugly, its nothing mean or personal... but all of my guy friends have for a while wondered why it is that i would date someone that is "so far below me" as my last girl. Well honestly my last girlfriend was amazingly beautiful for many reasons, americans for the most part (i didnt grow up here) are very hung up on "models" which frankly i dont find that attractive for many reasons. Once a girl puts herself up on a pedestal (or tries to emulate someone who has done so) she is automatically changing her personality giving herself even the slightest chip on her shoulder of how she is good enough looking that others should look at her.

as far as im concerned any woman willing to post a picture of herself doing something that makes her happy (whether its the popular thing or not) shows great character and heart, not to mention the fact that this woman is also a mother and a wife... all those things combined with the fact that your pretty good on the eyes as well, makes your husband a rather lucky man

edit :: please dont take this as me hitting on you (my girl yelled at me as i read it to her to get her approval) im simply stating how i feel things are.

Delta9 , .... don't be silly. Real people look real. "hotness" is fleeting and illusionary. Beauty doesn't show well in photos. Ask your kid who's beautiful and she'll say you - and mean it. Same as your husband. Who else even matters ?

Delta, I'm glad to see your amendment. The older I get, the stuff that can't be caught in a single photo becomes more and more valuable. The ones who matter will admire a shot of a mother or real shooter, rather than a bimbo who has to be told which end is the shooty end.

How about for the rest of this thread, in the interest of keeping it viable, we keep all comments focused on the guns and shooting contained in the pics, and not the ones holding the guns except to acknowledge their gender for making the pic unique.

xds, I think we've transgressed the "girls with guns" barrier and I love to see kids with them of any kind. My brother just took my niece shooting for the first time (she's 6) and no pics yet. Mine's still in the oven, but I think I'd say that 4 years old is plenty old enough for my little 10/22. It's going to be tough to wait.

delta9 :scrutiny:

I was glad to see your edit. I'd much rather see the younguns and "real" women with guns. I think we're all mature enough guys here that we've gotten past our young stupidity and realize where real beauty lies.

Delta9, great post. The fact that a woman knows how to handle a firearm in a safe and respectful manner is hotter to me than posed pictures. You can tell by someone's body language, even in photos, if they are comfortable around thier street howitzer. Kudos to you. Glad to see your pics, and everyone else's too.
