Legal Carrying WITHOUT a license, is it feasible?

This thread does show up the problem of a multitude of laws, ordinances, and regulations. How is any one supposed to keep track. Many seem to be pointless to the point of stupidity.
Step, step, turn around, back flip and step. No, No Its step, turn, step backflip, and hop.

How about this, A proposed Simple Ordinance.
Any American Citizen (the people) have the right to purchase, possess aquire, and own(keep), and have in their home or on their person (bear)any Rock, stick, knife, sword, and firearm(arms) anywhere and at any time.

Just a thought.

I actually grew up in Virgin (yes it's a real town) Utah, and they do have a city ordinance that every household must hold a firearm.

Yes, it is confusing. I recommend everyone in Utah buy and read Utah Gun Law by Mitch Vilos. The laws can be silly and contradictory. If you ever meet Mitch, say hi, he's a great guy. Get his card and keep it under your permit.

So Utah is where this two-step mumbo jumbo comes from! I recently took the CCW class here, and the instructor covers AZ statutes and AZ case law and proclaimed that activist judges have put in a "two-step" interpretation of when a weapon is legal in your car. If it takes two different actions to get it into firing position (ie removing it from a glove box and removing it from a holster or unlocking the glove box and removing the pistol from the glove box) it is legal to have it concealed in your car. He recommended always having a pistol in a holster while in the car. Dang, I like New Mexico's interpretation: Your car is an extension of you home in NM, and you can do whatever you durn well please.
