I've used the search bar to try to find something like my question, but I didn't find anything. So...

What is the most accurate handgun you have ever fired?

HK P7, followed a little by my HK P2000sk V3, then slightly behind, Walther P99c/AS...

I've owned pistols and revolvers for over 50 years and these are the only ones that just seem inherently amazingly accurate right out of the box.

Just personal opinion, no offense.

Best Wishes,

Jesse

Hi Standard Citation for me.

A close second would be my S&W K Frames in general. Hard to pick one out that is more accurate than the others, so I won't even attempt it, thought a nod goes to my 2" S&W Model 15, because many are astounded that such a short barrel gun could be so accurate. My Ruger Redhawk in .44 Magnum ranks right up there with the S&W K-Frames as well.

HK USP .40 for me, followed closely by my Sig P226 9mm. The XD .45 tactical has also been very good for me.

Dont know if it is the MOST accurate, but I have a Pietta 1858 Remington cap and ball that is a tack driver. Every time I shoot it I am surprised. That ball goes exactly where you put the sights.

6 1/2" 357 Ruger Blackhawk would shoot 1" or less groups @ 25 yd with just about any 158 gr load.

I really have had some good luck through the years with handguns.
Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8ths barrel
Ruger Mark I .22 Target barrel
Colt 1991
Ruger Security Six Snubbie
They all shoot as well or far better than I can, usually most accuracy is my fault or a load they don't like.

Ruger MK II Government Target. 2x Leupold scope. 6-7/8" barrel.

Braced against a sand bag, 10 rounds, 100 yards. The guy next to me on the line complained bitterly that I was going to put little holes all over his target, and then planted a .30cal hole on mine. They're three feet apart! Ah well.

I used to have a 50 AE desert eagle and could hit a 12"circular plate at 100 yards 9 times out of 10. standing unsupported.

Now, I would have to say my double stacked para gun rights model.

The most accurate was an original New Model #3 S&W in 44 Russian with a 6.5 inch barrel. Sorry I sold it.

Second most accurate and one I currently own is a custom built Colt Bisley in 44 Special. Built by Dave Chicoine at Old West Gunsmith. www.oldwestgunsmith.com Colt parts gun and genuine elephant ivory grips.

If you consider the Thompson Center single shot, it would be my most accutate, with under half inch groups at 100 yards (.223).

Probably my S&W Model 14 is my most accurate handgun.
My shooting doesn't begin to do the gun justice.

Even my cheapest Kimber will shoot one hole groups all day long, if I was up to it, which I'm not.

Then there's the 2 inch S&W Model 10.

If we have a class for tiny pocket pistols the Micro Desert Eagle would get high marks.
Everyone that shoots mine coments on the accuracy.

For the heck of it I shot 19 rounds at this 2x2 foot steel plate at 52 yards, standing, two hands. I aimed a little low and put two shots under the target. The little gun is capable of shooting a respectable group at 50 yards.
