No gun names for our dogs. People names work best for us-Currently Millie and Augie. In the past Megan, Maggie, Sam, Wilbur(friend of mine had same type dog named Orville so we referred them as the wrong brothers) Mimi and Susie.
We had a dog that attacked our son. I changed her name to bullet. She had a lead deficiency. That is the closest I have had to a pet named after anything related to a firearm. I laughed; however, when I read the post about the dog named Browning Hipower.
Our first Black Lab, Alabama-born in 85, passed away in Texas in 97, was named Magnum. His legacy lives in on Maggie, born on VA's eastern shore in 2008!
Not strictly gun-based but related nonetheless - I named my Doberman bitch Sasha. Her name stemmed from the diminutive of Alexandra (Alexandros, "Protector of Men").
Nope...no pets with gun names
2 cats: Pretty and Rocky (Rockstar)
a dog: Stella
Guinea Pig: Bandit
Leopard Gecko: Crickets
And many fish that shall remain nameless....literally
Although, my fiancée doesn't like handguns and knows I HATE lawn gnomes, and threatened to buy 3 and name them Glock, Beretta, and Taurus....if that sorta counts?
