Thanks for the update on the Tampa case. I read something about it when it happened and had lost track of it since then.
I get very concerned when we start publically posting the same stuff the antis say that these laws do. The first reason is that it's very bad advice to hear some anti-gun hopolophobe wringing his hands over how we've just given anyone the right to shoot anyone you don't like, disagree with, stumbles into your house...the list goes on....That kind of thinking could just ruin your life forever and by extension the lives of your loved ones.
The second reason is that when we stick our chests out and post with utmost surety that if an intruder is found there at night, he'll be found there dead in the morning, we just confirm that there is something to the stereotype the antis use against us.
That's not promoting the responsible use of firearms.
